Hello! I cant believe how time flies by us sometimes. I have been so busy with Brianna (4days a week) DD volleyball practice & games, classes and misc. things. Since I started blogging I have ignored some things I enjoyed and plan on getting back on track with things like WALKING, I havent even walked up the road for months, just to the mailbox, lol. The wedding last weekend went off without a hitch. Here is the bride and groom. It was a beautiful day.
DH was so nice to let me stop at not one .... but two needleshops. They were really small and I left with two purchases PS Pumpkin Patch and BOAF School Girls Wish Sampler. I did take a pic, but I had the wrong magazine in the photo. I had the Christmas Ornament, but somehow another one got thrown in???? LOL
As I was taking pics, I guess Smidget thought it was time for her photo to be in my blog again. This happens quite often. She just plops right down, lol
This is the pic I intended in taking
Yes! It's another update of WW. I know you are probably getting bored of seeing this WIP. The next time I have a pic it will be finished.
Here is Halloween Queen. I cant wait to stitch her pumpkin head, lol.
Here's the update on my SS Wed. SAL. The week prior I only stitched a couple of words, but really done alot on this past Wednesday.
Hopefully two more Wednesday and I shall be done. With a few getting close to being done, I am going to concentrate on CDC and Painted Ponies. I am going to finally give myself a deadline and have CDC done by Thanksgiving. And PP has to be done, so I can send it off to one of my readers. I do have a couple biggies I want to start around New Years. Will share at a later time.
I am still awaiting a invoice for JJ's. They must be really backed up from all the sales on Labor day. I want to pay for it and get my stash, NOW!!! lol.
Well, better to go and get ready for a nippy Friday Night Football game, yeah!!!!
Happy Stitching and Thank You for visiting me.
Edited : The groom is my nephew.

While Brianna sleeps.....

SHHHH!! I hope you all can hear me, lol.

I thought I would post real quick and show updates on a couple things I worked on Saturday night. My update progress on Witchy Washy by Raise The Roof

Oh!! And looky there, I remembered to take a picture of my Ashley Gingher scissors.
I got kinda of bored with the dress, so I started a new one Halloween Queen by Notforgotten Farms

I love the willow tree and thought about just adding things around it. I can do that another time though. For those who cant make it out, the tree is in her dress with some tombstones. I dont know what I am using for the fabby, just a junk piece. It was like the Wild Fairy Lights but only in a different color. It is so loose and flimsy. It is perfect for this piece though.
We went to the apple orchard yesterday, here's a yummy picture with my purchases.

The donuts are Yumo!!! I had the cheese popcorn almost gone before we arrived home.
I am feeling so overwhmled by all my stash and the new seasons charts coming out. I went through a bunch of my stash yesterday and sorted out mostly my threads. I am done buying for awhile, lol. I just have way too much and I havent recieved my parcels from the sales yet. I have so many threads that are only a shade off, so I am going to try to compromise there. I do love the design "JEUX D"HALLOWEEN" by Perrette Samouiloff, it's in French, but could probably figure it out with the chart. I also have so many finishes I need to make frames for and would love to make a biscornu for myself before the year ends. I just envy you all for all the neat exchanges you do. I would love to try it, but am not confident stitching for someone else that stitches.
Kathy A ask me about Painted Ponies here is a pic of it.

It can be found in The Cross Stitcher June 1995. Sorry for the blurriness. If you like it, I would love to pass it on to you when I am finished.
I am going to a wedding on Saturday in southern Illinois. Can anyone help me out and let me know if there are any cross stitch shops? I would really appreciate it.
Oh! did I say I was going to stop buying, well it wouldnt hurt to just look, lol.
Better go Brianna is making noises. We are going on the third feeding before daddy gets here. I am pondering just how much or little I will get done when shes here. I am so nervous about the monitor. It has gone off twice so far since she came home for a low heart beat. But she will be good for grandma, lol
Happy Stitching!!!

I found time to post...

Hi! I hope everyone is doing well. I will start off with my Wednesday SAL of Salem Sisters
That is the WIP I have worked on the most. Wednesday is a commitment, lol.
I have worked on Painted Ponies here and there
I have been so busy with school starting and kellie jumped right in with Volleyball games, which is very interesting. Brianna is home and I will start watching her starting Monday all day, till Dad gets off at 2:30. Heather is taking on a Huck postition at the hospital and is planning on starting school in the spring, since Brianna is on a heart monitor. I have been busy cleaning the carpets, dusting, washing curtains, etc. all that good stuff, NOT, lol. I was gonna watch her at her home, but that is too many hours away from home to get things done around here.
Next off I will share a few photos of us boating the Mississippi River on Sept 2, the weather was beautiful but the waters were rough. The first is a eagles nest, it doesnt look like it, but it was huge, a couple people would fit inside it. It was empty, but when we came back by it, there was an eagle on the branch, but DH was going too fast and I couldnt have my camera out.
I have locked through the Dams before but each time it is interested and you get to talk to people while waiting for the water to rise inside to go up river or wait for the water to lower going down. There is Sean hanging on to the rope inside the lock through. We waited for 1-1/2 for a barge to move thru, but we fished in the mean time. It takes about 15 minutes to lock. Usually it is fuller with boats, I think the colder weather kept people from boating that day. I did have a pic of the tugs with barges, but lost it.
Heather's baby shower was last Sunday afternoon, of course it was the first football Sunday. Dad and Grandpa had to watch her. Here are some pic of her in her Chicago Bears cheerleader dress and Dad has his shirt and cap on. They are not big fans, lol.
I think I finally might have a stitching friend, keep fingers crossed for me. I have known her since we were babies, our moms were pregnant with us together. I knew she had started cross stitch a few years ago and jumped right into doing big designs. We have kinda drifted apart, but still send cards. I have e-mailed her about stitching and she is interested in going to the LNS with me for a few weeks now, but the timing is always wrong for one if us. I beleive she only does the kits, but was telling her about all the fibers they have now. i hope I didnt scare her, lol.
Well, she had went to a stitching shop many years ago with me and she bought this design, just because she liked it. I asked her if I could borrow it. I dug it out "Dream Catchers" I dont have much left to finish it. And then I found the duck one, cant find the chart, but I know I have it somewhere around here.
I have been busy with my new phone, all the gadgets on it confuses me, lol. I had the old one for two years. I now have a camera, speaker, voice command, navigation, web, music, etc. Why?? I wanted to be styling, lol. No, thats all they basically had, except for the keyboard one, but that didnt impress me. Kellie was so excited to get one too, but we blocked some stuff, so she cant do everything.
Oh yeah! I forgot to take a pic of something. I will post it next time with a stitching update. Heather and I took back a few doubles and exchanged them today. There was a Jo-Ann Fabrics right next door, so I took two minutes and ran in to make a purchase. I am sure that was all the hint you needed, lol.
I hope I didnt bore you all with this long post, please come back, lol. I havent been posting, becuz my lack of stitching, but have been trying to read blogs on and off. The computer was turned off for 2 days, thats the first time in ten years. I hope I havent lost my stitching mojo. I finally have a chance to see tonite, if I ever get done posting. DH is gone this weekend, he's been home because of the area flooding we had and the fishing tournaments have been cancelled for three weeks, but not this weekend, lol. I so looked forward to this weekend. Kellie is staying at a friends tonite and so all is quite, except for this dang keyboard, lol.
I cant believe its already 9:30 pm and I am tired from shopping today.
Well, I better go and find my mojo.
Thank You All or reading my blog and commenting, I appreciate it more then you know.
Happy Stitching and have a great weekend (whats left of it).
TaTa for now...

WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! Just to let everyone know....
Sean and Heather are on their way HOME with Brianna as I write this.
I am so excited to go and see her later after dinner.
Aunt Kellie is excited too, because she can see her up close and even hold her. Being only 11 yrs old, she wasnt allowed in the NICU.
We took a course Wednesday in a conference room for the monitor and cpr lesson for a baby, just in case.
She has to have the monitor on at all times except to bathe.
Thats o.k. though better to be safe then sorry.
Yikes!! I will officially be babysitting starting the 19th, Heather has extended leave till then.
I will be back soon on stitchy updates, which isnt very much :(
Well, I better go and get ready to go and see her.
Take care everyone and have a super weekend.
