Now for the winners of the Breast Cancer Awareness give-away

First winner of the bracelet and pen go to Carla

Second winner pulled for the peeler is Brenda (no blog)

Congratulations! Carla and Brenda

Do you notice the ABC is ripped out from the last post? I went off the wrong chart on the pamplet for a different design and ended up stitching the ABC and border the color that is of the bird. I didnt want to frog the border or have that much of one color. So I will do the alphabet in 310 or maybe a forest green, not sure yet.

This one is hard to put down

Thanks so much for visiting me.

Happy Stitching!!

Spooky Town and spooky stitching

I 've seen on other blogs photo's of their Halloween villages and thought I would take a few of mine.
It is called Spooky Town by Lemax. I have purchased them over the years at Michaels Crafts. The sounds are awesome. more too come

Here is some spooky stitching, it scares me.

I think it will make an appropriate pin cushion.
Voodoo Boy by Haberdashery I am not following any of the color codes as you can see.

I finished my Mary Garry witch into a floss tag.

Here is another little creature we have roaming our front porch
I am on the last page of AAFG WOOHOO!!!!!!!!

updates and more stash

Happy Friday!!

What do you do with a green monster?

What goes ha-ha-splat?

Here is where I am at with the freebie by Barbara Ana "Halloween's Sudden Boo"

Prairie Schooler "When Witches Go Riding"

And here is some more stash the mailman delivered today :) Check out the Just Nan charm embellishment for "Ghastly, Ghostly Ghouls"

I just love it, yea!!!!

Why did the monster eat a light bulb?

Now I can deal with frogs and caterpillars, but not these

yikes!! baby snakes, I had a dream there was a nest of hundreds of them, after seeing so many lately. And on my drive way. We have a small river in our backyard, we have seen a snake down there here and there, but not like this year, same with the frogs and caterpillars. It must have something to do with all the wet weather this year.

I would like to Congratulate Suzanne and her family on the birth of their baby girl.

Where do vampires send their dirty clothes?

Who did the ghost take to the movies?

What is Dracula's favorite fruit?

Why do witches ride on broomsticks?

What do you get when you cross a vampire and a snowman?

O.K.! O.K.!

I better get a crackin" on AAFG

Happy Stitching!!

Stitchy Stash

Hello! it's been awhile since I had clicky fingers, lol

Country Cottage Kids- "Boys and Bugs" "Princess Parade" and LHN Pinetop Logde

Crossed Wind Collection 28 ct "Earth" "Tumbleweed" for ToT fairy, but I think it is too drab and Summer Gingham

Fabric from Joan's-Sew-B-It-XStitching Blog Candy Corn, Caramel Apple, Marshmellow Pumpkin and Witches Hour I received Christmas alot faster than my Halloween edition.

I should be getting my ToT threads and beads and a few more charts I ordered from The Stitcher's Closet.

I do want to change my header name, but I got a few replies not to.

I was thinking like "Desperately Stitching" which seems like I am always doing, lol.

Happy Stitching!!

Lots to report

Where do I start?
Hmmm! Well, Kellie had her tournament volleyball this weekend in a town that holds a Autumn Festival,
here are some pics.

They had lots of awesome craft vendors, music in the street, yummy food, etc.

The Stronghold Castle was also holding an English Fair, but I didn't get to go this year:(

This is my mantle all decked out for Halloween. I bought the witches boot and this adorable light up pumpkin

Look at this poor vacancy tree with no stitched ornies, just a couple of things from the fair. I guess I better get a move on that JCS halloween mag.

These caterpillars are everywhere this year, never seen so many.

I am doing some stitching and some reading. I had to checkout Bleeding Kansas again, so now I am going on 3 weeks reading it.

I am really trying focus my stitching on AAFG. I started this last year on Oct. 29, so I am really finally setting a goal to finish it by then. Yes! I said "Goal" lol
I have been stitching a little here and there on Emerald Mermaid, so here is my stitchy photo.

I have lots of new stitchy stash. I will be posting again in a few days.

I would love to change my header name, What do you all think?

I think something new would be nice.

If your still with me Kudo's! to you.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Happy Stitching!!
