Happy 2009

Happy New Year and all the best of 2009 to everyone.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas day spent with loved ones.
I didn't post or even comment during those couple of weeks, come to think of it I didn't even stitch, Now I am just trying to get in the knack of it all again.
Well, we survived the week with Brianna, but was so glad to see her mom and dad. I know now why they call us Grandma's, lol
Kellie and I have been baking up a storm and with the holidays over, we are still baking. Heather never really had any interest in the kitchen and is still like that, lol.

We also had a bout of the flu along with the festivities of Christmas.

I don't have Heather's camera to upload any pics of their vacation and they don't have their wedding cd back. So that will be on a later post.

I started "And They Sinned" exactly one year ago on 01/o1/2008

I am so close to being done. I don't know why the photo's turned our crappy, but if I fixed them it would cut time in my stitching, lol. You get the idea though.
I wished I had time in the last few days of the year to stitch the few I am so close to finishing. I kind of got out of the habit of stitching and blogging, the computer all together.

I stitched alot this past year with all of your support and inspiration. May it continue.

I woke up early this morning with anticipation to start a new stitch, but the two I had kitted up since march. On one I can't find my 2 skeins of spring green to start the border and the other I just doubled checked the fabby and I think it is cut to short. I have lots to stitch though.

I didn't get any stitchy stuff for Christmas :(

I never do, but every year I hope to open something stitchy, they don't have a clue around here and never will, lol. I did buy a few things the other day from the The Stitchers Closet sale.

I would post pics, but I received a letter awhile back saying it was rude to post pics of my stash. I don't know about you all, but I love to see all the piles of stash or maybe just that one chart you get.

Have a happy, healthy, safe and stitchy 2009

Happy New Year Ranae! OMG I LOVE your And They Sinned! I'm so impressed with the who stitches that piece. It is so awesome! You're almost done with it! Don't feel bad, I didn't get any stitchy stuff either. My house is clueless as well and it is a bummer, I understand. Just a little something would be great wouldn't it? Well, that just means you get what you want now! I do! LOL

Your "And They Sinned" is amazing!

I didn't get anything stitchy, either (but that's okay!) I can't believe that someone would try to tell you not to post stash pictures. Just my opinion...post what you want, and if people don't want to read it they don't have to!

Happy New Year!!!!!

WOW you better keep working on the ATS and get it finished today if possible... then it will be a piece done in a year.

I can not believe someone would tell you that posting stash is not ok. I love seeing others stash it gets me anxious to do stitching.

I love the family photo.... we want to get a Christmas card photo like that but have everyone in jammies so it looks like we just woke on Christmas to open gifts. LOL

Happy new year Ranae !!!

I hop you saw the post I made on the magazine I won on your blog. Thanks again for sending it to me !!! I really appreciated it !!! Thanks also for the little bag !!!

You can post picture of your stash. That person must be jealous because I, I'm always very happy for the person who get new stash because I know how exciting it is !!! ;-) And it gives ideas to get more stash for ourselves !!! lol Come on, show what you got !!!

No stitching gifts here either ... I guess Chuy didn't have an idea of what to offer me (I may not stitch enough close to him EVERY single night !!! lol )

You have a beautiful family (unless it is not allowed to show pictures of our families? lol )

Happy New Year!!! Just popping in with my opinion that it is definitely NOT rude to post stash pictures!!!! Where else would we see stuff we might also like to do? I like to feel happy for people when they have a good stash and love to see pics of stash. So, if you are inclined in the future and you get any flak, please refer the flakkers to me!!!!

De-lurking to say that the person who thinks it's rude to post pics of stash is rude themselves. Just give them the big finger & post your pics. After all, it's YOUR blog! :)

Love your ATS piece..I admire anyone who can stitch that. It's huge!
