While Brianna sleeps.....
I thought I would post real quick and show updates on a couple things I worked on Saturday night. My update progress on Witchy Washy by Raise The Roof
Oh!! And looky there, I remembered to take a picture of my Ashley Gingher scissors.
I got kinda of bored with the dress, so I started a new one Halloween Queen by Notforgotten Farms
I love the willow tree and thought about just adding things around it. I can do that another time though. For those who cant make it out, the tree is in her dress with some tombstones. I dont know what I am using for the fabby, just a junk piece. It was like the Wild Fairy Lights but only in a different color. It is so loose and flimsy. It is perfect for this piece though.
We went to the apple orchard yesterday, here's a yummy picture with my purchases.
The donuts are Yumo!!! I had the cheese popcorn almost gone before we arrived home.
I am feeling so overwhmled by all my stash and the new seasons charts coming out. I went through a bunch of my stash yesterday and sorted out mostly my threads. I am done buying for awhile, lol. I just have way too much and I havent recieved my parcels from the sales yet. I have so many threads that are only a shade off, so I am going to try to compromise there. I do love the design "JEUX D"HALLOWEEN" by Perrette Samouiloff, it's in French, but could probably figure it out with the chart. I also have so many finishes I need to make frames for and would love to make a biscornu for myself before the year ends. I just envy you all for all the neat exchanges you do. I would love to try it, but am not confident stitching for someone else that stitches.
Kathy A ask me about Painted Ponies here is a pic of it.
It can be found in The Cross Stitcher June 1995. Sorry for the blurriness. If you like it, I would love to pass it on to you when I am finished.
I am going to a wedding on Saturday in southern Illinois. Can anyone help me out and let me know if there are any cross stitch shops? I would really appreciate it.
Oh! did I say I was going to stop buying, well it wouldnt hurt to just look, lol.
Better go Brianna is making noises. We are going on the third feeding before daddy gets here. I am pondering just how much or little I will get done when shes here. I am so nervous about the monitor. It has gone off twice so far since she came home for a low heart beat. But she will be good for grandma, lol
Happy Stitching!!!

WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!
Sean and Heather are on their way HOME with Brianna as I write this.
I am so excited to go and see her later after dinner.
Aunt Kellie is excited too, because she can see her up close and even hold her. Being only 11 yrs old, she wasnt allowed in the NICU.
We took a course Wednesday in a conference room for the monitor and cpr lesson for a baby, just in case.
She has to have the monitor on at all times except to bathe.
Thats o.k. though better to be safe then sorry.
Yikes!! I will officially be babysitting starting the 19th, Heather has extended leave till then.
I will be back soon on stitchy updates, which isnt very much :(
Well, I better go and get ready to go and see her.
Take care everyone and have a super weekend.

The Gift of Stitching?????
Does anyone get the download of The Gift Of Stitching??
Do you like it?
I was wondering if I should buy it.
Does it download easy?
Does anyone print it out?
How many pages usually?
Sorry for all the questions.
I have seen it on the sidebars of some blogs and just wondering, if it would be worth my wild.
Hope everyone has a long beautiful weekend.
Happy Stitching!!

Rain, Rain go away....

I love stitching this design, now I have to finish the series, lol. If anyone is interested in trading charts, email me. I do keep all my BOAF though.
Wednesday, I was so excited to start a SAL with Lizzy and Sharon. We are stitching Salem Sisters by Plum Street Samplers. I am using the recommended fibers which are 36ct Autumn Gold and Crescent colors: Bramble bush, Black Coffee and Wisconsin Woods. The only progress I stitched was the pumpkin
So I might have a thread change, we will see. I did take a pic of the chart, but the glare from the cover was terrible, I will post a pic next time. Wednesday cant come fast enough :)
Oh yeah! I do have something kinda of funny to share with you. When I showed my DD and DH my finished Fairy. My DH was very serious when he saked me, " What is it a flying monkey?" Men!!!! My DD laughter forever and is still chuckling over it. It will always be a conversational piece. But come on a Flying Monkey?? And he also thought her bangs were horns. Do any of you have a hubby like mine? lol. Thats awhole other blog, lol. With that said I will leave you with a smile on your face. Thanks for all the kind comments and inspiration.
Have super great weekend!
Happy Stitching All.
