Plant Love

Hi!

I am still here. It's been so crazy around here with the weather being so nice and the end of the school year. I have been trying stitch a little here and a little there. My wrist are starting to hurt again. I now have a knot so I might go to the doctor here in a week or two and see about some relief.

I did finish Plant Love, pattern found in The Gift of Stitching - Digital Cross Stitch Magazine. A Lizzy Kate design. Stitched on 32 ct star sapphire with DMC

I was so excited to hear that I won Sally's contest and have already received Winter Wonderland, perfect cause y'all know how I just love snow. I hope mine turns out just as beautiful as hers. Go take a visit, she has a awesome stitching blog, much to be respected.

I was so tickled that Staci had used the site for the freebie Quaker. I love to hear when there is good feedback at my posts. It turned out wonderfully too.
Here is another freebie I love that I will share with you http://www.trifils.com/laboutique/freecharts/COEURBRODEUSE.pdf

I helped out at kellie's science class for the end of year disecting a worm. Here are photo's of the starfish.

Thank You for the couple of my readers that inquired about my MIA. It means alot to me, that I am missed.

Happy Stitching! Happy Weekend!

BEWARE!! x-rated x-stitch

Hello!
Did the title catch your eye? LOL
I didn't even notice the mermaid was topless, till I was stitching her.
Good Things/ BOAF
Here is a new start, when I downloaded May/TGOF, it just jumped out at me.
Plant Love shown with Gingher "Abigail"

I am stitching it on 32 ct star sapphire

I finally broke down and bought, not one, but two HAED.
OMG! what did I get myself into??
I fell in love with the new Celestial Night and thought I might as well get Pumpkin Pixie with it. I even ordered the fabby for CN. So keep on the lookout for that WIP.
The second biscornu I stitched from the last post. I received word that Sharon received it. She loved it!! Happy! Happy! It was so nerve wracking sending something handmade, but I finally did it. yippeee!!!
Well! I better stop yaking if I want some time to read your blogs, lol

Arghh! How come my photos aren't clickable for clarity anymore?????

Thank you for all your support.

Happy Stitching!!

1st of the month ATS

Hi!
I thought I would show closer photo's of ATS in four segments, so you can see the details

I don't have anything to show or tell.
Thanks you for all the kind comments and e-mails. It gets so lonely stitching all by yourself and these really help keep me motivated.

Happy Weekend!!

UFO finish Happy Dance

Hello!
I have been absent due to the fabulous weather. We have been hiking, (which feels really good), cleaning up the landscape, cleaning windows and patio furniture, Kellie has baseball, etc.
The last couple of days has took a turn for the worst. It is dark, cold and rainy.
It was sunny for a few hours yesterday, just enough time for me to decide to take a few pics.
It's not a huge happy dance, but I am pleased to get it out of the box, lol.

Warm Winter Wishes by Waxing Moon Designs

It's a little crooked due to laying in the grass, that needs to be cut.
I also made a biscornu and in the process of making a second one.

Autumn Biscornu by Helga Mandl

Silly me, stitched the first one by turning the fabby, so I have the diagonal corners stitched the wrong way. Not on the second one though, I marked it.

I was so happy to win LHN "My Needle's Work" over at Sharon's blog. I have have admired her blog, way before I even started my own blog. She does some awesome stitching and is so friendly. Sew! Go take a visit and see what I mean.

A very big Thanks to Sharon for being so generous (((hugs)))

I will leave you with a few pics from my yard.

P.S. Here is a Quaker freebie http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2620351850100097129gCnNhu

I am off to play catch up on my almost 300 unread blog post in my GR.

Do The Frappucinno Dance

Hi! I finally finished Frappucinno and here is the results...

I started The Peacock Sampler by The Goode Huswife. I don't know the fabric, I am using Vikki Clayton silks.

There are my new Gingher Emma scissors in the 4" and 8".

I recieved my BBD #30 Rites of Spring, plus the 30ct Irish Creme fabby thru the auto-ship. Arghhh! The fabby is cut short AGAIN. I have talked to others and they dont get shorted the 3" border. Sew! I will be doing my auto-ship somewhere else.

Any recommendations?

It's not a life or death thing, but I would like what everyone is getting for their money. I like to have the extra, just in case. Rather to be safe then sorry.

Happy Stitching!!

23 Years and still going

Dan and I celebrated our 23rd Anniversary on Sunday the 6th. We went out Saturday nite and did yard work and cooked out on Sunday. The photo is so funny. We look so young, lol. We were both 21 yrs old. Did I just give my age away? lol.
We are officially going to be in-laws. Brianna's mommy and daddy are engaged to be married in December in Hawaii, thats the plans so far. We will see.
What do you think I should go with the yellow windows or the black windows? The black just looked so gloomy, but I am thinking now the contrast is better.

Some stitchers had e-mailed me about the Shepherd's Bush Baby Bug Ball chart, if I was going to give it away. Sorry! It's gone! I mailed it to Cindy kinda like a trade. I had won her Pale Eggs kit, so I thought it was appropriate to send her BBB. Life around here has been so crazy. My google reader is yelling at me like a million other things. I try to go thru a few at a time. I have my Emma Ginghers and forgot to take a pic, next post I suppose. I have been working on Warm Winter Wishes and that will be finished soon.

Well, I better go and read a few blogs.

Thanks so much for visiting me.

1st of the month ATS progress

Hello! Well another month has passed me by so fast and here's the progress on And They Sinned. I started it on 01-01-08, so this is three months of stitching.
Is that half way????
I was going through the bowels of my WIP totes and found this Warm Winter Wishes by Waxing Moon. I am going to have this finished by the 1st day of summer, if not sooner. I think I threw it away because the white snow don't show up very well. I am going to try ecru and see if that works. I am stitching it on 36 ct In The Clouds linen.

Last Saturday I was going to get a mat for Midnight Stroll. On the way there I stopped at a church rummage sale and found this frame for a quarter. Can you believe it? I think it suits it just fine. I love the little dainties of it. I saved money not having to have a mat cut to size. Its not a very good pic, the weather is so gloomy, so the lighting is terrible.

And another thing I cant believe is that I won the contest for the SB Pale Eggs kit on Cindy's blog that she was offering. Go over and give her a big Howdy!! She has an awesome blog. Thanks Cindy

I put some time aside for tomorrow to play catch up on blogs, I hope it works out, hehe. The posts are really accumulating.

I have a question on my last post. How come the SB framed photo is clickable but not the BBD wip? They are the same size and was downloaded at same time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Happy Stitching!!

Another finish and framed

Baby Bug Ball kit by Shepherd's Bush
Sitched on 32 ct. belfast linen-light sand with silks

I hope it is clickable for a better view. If not I try to post it again, so it is.
I was surprised to find all I had to do was the beading and add the buttons, so I finished it Monday and found a frame at Old Time Pottery this week shopping with Kellie. With kellie being on spring break this week, it was a nice time. I framed it today and thought I better post tonite, tomorrow I have Brianna so you know where I am coming from, lol.
Here is my progress on BBD.
I frogged the roof and some I had done around the windows and replaced it with the called DMC. I like it so much more, so it was worth it.
I have to get working on ATS the next couple of days, the update will be due and its been neglected.
I still have a generous amount of silks from the SB kit, so I am thinking next week I will try a FOB or something with one of the bugs. They are so cute.
I will give the SB to heather to hang in Brianna's room.
Well, I better wrap things up around here before nitey-nite.
Oh! here's something cute, have your volume turned up. http://joe-ks.com/archives_may2005/Elastic_Baby.htm
