I did it!! I did it!!

Hello!

As many of you already know smalls are not my forte.
I love to make biscornu's and now I love to make the floss rings.
I did this little fellow in a few hours last night.
I followed Staci's tutorial, it was easy as 1-2-3

Don't look to close, my border is a little iffy. The design come a freebie Owls & Acorns at Blue Ribbon Designs

It was so hard to go to sleep last night, I was just so tickled with myself. So now its time for a little nappy. I was wanting to post first thing this morning, but I slept in, then I had to met a lady from freecycle to give her some of Brianna's left over formula. Which made me feel even better then I already am with the floss ring.

Happy Stitching!!

Congratulations Ranae!
It looks great!
It is so satisfying to complete something and not to have to worry when you are going to get back to it! (My biggest stitching problem)!

Your little owl looks great Ranae!!!
I LOVE smalls!!! They give me sense of accomplishment. I'm planning to make me a little floss ring too, just can't find the rings, guess I'll need a trip to Caracas...

Congratulations Ranae on doing such a great job.
I haven't tried making one of these. I will have to have a go. Interesting part is finding the rings around here. Looks like a trip to Sydney.

Way to go Ranae - lovely little owl. i keep looking at those floss tags but my bag of to do's is so full.Look at the people who are off to the big city for rings since you showed them your finished tag. I am not a great finisher yet. I just don't stitch well by hand. I should have sent my Book of Stitches to Vonna to finish!!!

What a delightful little floss tag - how clever you were to use the owl from the BRD chart. I just might have to be a copycat. I have yet to brave a floss ring but you made it look doable. Another "to try" on my ever-growing list.

Love that floss ring. I don't do cross-stitching as I find it too small for my eyes. That is why I turned to swedish weaving - it is somewhat like cross-stitching but much bigger. Being related to Pumpkin, I do appreciate great cross-stitching. Great work on your part. Thanks to visiting my blog.
