Happy Thanksgiving from Arkansas

Yes!!!
We are in Arkansas. We left at 4:30am this morning after I got home from work. We finally arrived at the cabin in Caddo Valley just south of Little Rock after dark. I thought I would bring DH here to tour DeGray Lake for the tournment in May. Am I sweet or what??!! lol
DH isn't so sweet, he made me go hundreds of miles before letting me stop to go pee. And that was to get gas, I narrowly escaped the 4-runner to run inside and relieve myself, enough already! lol
I made a couple little ornaments out of the Prairie Schoolers from The Lodge that I stitched earlier this year

The pics were taken from my back yard in Illinois

I started this BOAF the night before we left. I am going to try to finish it in the boat tomorrow.

I just can't stitch or read while moving in a vehicle

Not sure which design will go in the middle. I am leaning toward the singing couple or the reindeer

I am really, really tired, but wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Day. Please have safe travels to those of you that make a trek to be with family.

I am thankful right now to be out of the truck after 13+ hours.

I will try to take pics of our little cozy cabin and snaps of the lake and post them in a few days.

Thank goodness for wireless, I just wish the battery lasted longer.

I am thankful for all the cyber stitchy friends. For all your comments, e-mails and support.

Take care one and all

Until next time...

Happy Stitching

Arkansas, eh? My very first roommates out of college (in WI) were from there. Memories, you stirred. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, Ranae.

I can stitch or read or anything of the sort when in a moving vehicle either. It gives me a terrible headache and motion sickness. I don't know how those that do it can handle it!

I hope your Thanksgiving was amazing Ranae!

Glad you had a safe trip to the lodge (even if DH didn't let you stop for a rest break as often as you'd like, lol). Love the ornaments, your finishing looks great.

You should have explained to DH if he didn't let you pee, he'd have a puddle in the car ;o)

Great job on the ornaments! How is your BOAF coming along?

Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving :o)
