We had a fabulous day yesterday. We all thought the trek for everyone wouldn't be good, but eveyone made it to my house and back home safe. Today is a different story
stitched on 30ct Abecedarian with GA & WDW threads.
I loved the queen stitches after the first one
Today is a very lazy day. It is snowing like crazy
I love sitting by the window and looking at the view. Excuse the dirty window, lol

Ranae - I love both your finishes! Greetings is so cheery - I love the colors!!! And Villages looks wonderful too - I think I like the colors best in Village than in other HRH pieces. Hope that you're having a wonderful holiday.
Love your finishes and the Village is just gorgeous. I think I am going to have to definitely work on mine today. I just love it, its my favorite of them all.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! Love "Greetings" the colors are outstanding on this piece. Block #8 reminds me of Gardners Village here in Utah. I have a photo that reminds me of this block. Great progress. Congrats to Hazel!!
Wow, I love all the stitching, especially Greetings. I have that one on my list to stitch (only a mile long!). I love your motto at the end of your post. I might borrow it one day! And it looks like a lovely day to burrow inside and stitch, all the more cozy beause it looks so cold and white outside!
Ranae...you've been busy! Terrific finishes. I love "Greetings". Beautiful snowy backdrop too. Congrats to Hazel on winning the giveaway!
Wow Ranae! Your finishes are great! I hope your weekend is wonderful.
Love the colors in Greetings, Ranae. Happy holidays!
Oh I love your BBD finish -- and your VoHRH too! Hope you're enjoying your Christmas holidays!
Love the BBD. It's gorgeous!
Yay, on the mini-HD on HRH.
Beautiful finishes. You always pick the best designs. The snow looks so pretty. But I'm glad ours is mostly washed away by today's rain.
Greetings is gorgeous and congrats on your HRH progress. I love the view out your window - it looks so calm and peaceful.
Congrats on your beautiful Greetings! I have that one kitted up...one of these days I'll get to it, and after seeing your lovely finish I may have to move it up on the list ;)
What wonderful finishes! I hope you had a great Christmas!
Greetings is so gorgeous! Congrats!
What beautiful finishes!!
As for the snow, I feel that you are lucky! Here, it began raining Christmas night and has drizzled, dripped, and dropped away all the snow that fell earlier in the week. It's 55 degrees outside right now--at 3 am!! Ugh.
Greetings has such beautiful colours...
I love the colors in Greetings, Ranae--so bright and Christmasy looking! I got Villages for Christmas, too--yay! But it will have to wait a while for me to start it. I'll love watching your progress in the mean time :)
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Great finish! 2/3 of the way now. I haven't seen that Blackbird design and it is lovely!
Oh Ranae, what a lovely finish this is. I also have this book but haven't opened it in quite a while ... and it has such great designs. It's time to choose one and kit it up.
Villages is coming along great. I'm still busy with Houses but will take it up soon and stitch another house on it.
I hope you have a relaxing weekend full of stitching time.
Congrats on finishing another square of villages, that is such a great piece. Greetings looks wonderful as well. The Queen stitch does look so nice, however, I've never been able to get mine to look right so usually substitute another stitch. Yours looks wonderful, and the colors in that piece are so pretty.

So glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas :o) Boy, you have a lot of snow. We had a white Christmas but it's already starting to melt away.
Your two finishes are just beautiful!
Congratulations to Hazel.
Love the finish! I kitted up the Blackbird sampler last month, and I'm disappointed that I only got about 25 stitches into it, while I waited for my kids at the dentist! Too many other Christmas sewing projects that needed my attention.
Oh well, so glad you had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration.
The snow outside your window looks SO beautiful!
Love the mill --- what a sweet piece!
WOW both finishes are great. I especially LOVE the B;ackbird Design Design.
Your view out of your window is glorious! That is the kind of view my husband and I long for one day, hopefully soon.
Take Care
Natasha
Ranae,
I'm Eva's friend Kim--Hi there! Long time no see!
Just wanted to tell you I love your Peppermint Blackbird design you stitched and the banner you stitched at the top of your page.
Hope to see you soon!
Kim
A wonderful Blackbird finish, such pretty colours in it.
Your snow pics are wonderful, stay nice and cosy and warm inside, a good excuse to sit and stitch all day!
Beautiful finishes!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Tthat is a lovely BD finished and a good progress on the HRH.
The snow scene from you window looked amazing, nothing like that from where I am from.

and please to read you again in 2010 !
I love all the snow! We seldom get any so I am usually ready for spring after the holidays but I could be happy with a good snow fall. Village is just looking wonderful! I really have to start on mine!
Congrats on both your finishes! I agree, snow looks beautiful (from the inside looking out, lol). However, I *am* ready for spring now.
Love "Greetings". I think I'll have to dig out my book. The Village is awesome. Nice work!
