They start out as a pretty yellow flower
Do you know where I am going with this?
Woohoo!!! It's finished and I love it
Dandy Dreams by Silver Creek Samplings
28ct cream cashel w/DMC
I frogged the year once, don't know what the heck I was thinking, because it is 2010 right?!
I guess I am use to stitching older charts and have the habit of stitching the current year
I started the sock monkey from the JCS ornament issue, so hopefully I will have another finish to share with you.
Thanks for visiting my neck of the weeds (ooops! excuse me, woods)
Happy stitching!!!!!

Reminds me of making dandelion necklaces when I was a kid. Nice finish!
O yes, very familiar... Plenty of those in what is supposed to be our lawn... I like your stitched version sooooo much better!!! This chart is on my list for the Crazy January Challenge 2011! Can't wait to start now!
Ever heard of dandelion gravy? Go to Amish country during late spring and it's everywhere. I've been told it's great - not gonna try it. I love your piece. So fitting for Ohio too.
Smiles - Denise
Gorgeous finish , I've just received my copy of the chart today after ordering a few weeks ago , so looking forward to starting it soon . X

Dandy dreams is too cute - Nice work :)
Great finish! Congrats!
That is so pretty. I like how you took the pictures of the dandelions and worked up to the stitched piece. Nicely done.
Very nice!!! :)
It looks great Ranae! I still stop and pick a dandelion gone to seed and enjoy blowing it into the wind. :o)
What a cute piece!! My grandfather used to make dandelion wine!
My entire yard is filled with them. I'm sure my neighbors hate me, but hey I'm a country girl living in the city. In the country, you let them grow!
Congrats on your finish. :)
Very cute finish! Love this design.
Now that's the kind of dandelions I like (the stitched kind that don't multiply!) Congrats on a really cute finish.
I had no idea we were supposed to stitch charts in the same year as the date on them...I always thought we were supposed to stitch them well afterwards, lol ;)
Beautiful! I love your finish!
Horray!!!! And oh so cute :o)
Each time I see this pattern, it grows more and more on me (no pun intended).
Your Dandelion Sampler is gorgeous! Congratulations on the finish.
The Sock Monkey caught my eye too, but I don't know if I'll get to stitch it this year. I look forward to seeing yours.
Beautiful finish Ranae!
I completely adore that design, what a fantastic finish!
What a beautiful finish. When I was at primary school I remember the school field being covered in dandelions. We used to make many wishes each day, not sure if any of them ever came true!
We have lots and lots of those during the summer and we don't like them to be on our backyard so we pull it off most times. It can spread pretty quick!
What a beautiful finish. Congrats!
What an absolutely gorgeous finish Ranae!
What a sweet finish, Ranae! Can't wait to see your sock monkey ornament--what fun!
Wonderful! I love it!
Stunning! Such a beautiful finish and such a lovely post Ranae, simply perfect.
I might just have to go and buy this one ....
Lovely finish. Love the designer. x
I loved this design the moment I saw it. Congrats on a great finish!
That is a lovely piece. Congrads!
Well done on such a lovely finish. My DD loves dandelions because she likes the flowers then loves to blow the weeds and tell the time lol.
I bought this chart after seeing it on someone else's blog, and am waiting for the linen to come in. Yours makes me itch to start it today - beautifully done!
