I added smyrna crosses to make it a little more decorative, not there was anything wrong with it.
Just thought I would change it from everyone elses. You can copy mine, I would be flattered if someone did :) There is a up-close... last pic of this post

Great WIP's. I especially like Penny America. You've been a very busy woman:)))
Oh, Penny America is adorable! It looks so tiny by the scissors... is it a tiny stitch or are the scissors large? LOL
I am so impressed with your pile of WIPs that are so close to being done - great job!
Such pretty and fun projects! I loved the Penny American pattern the minute I saw it!
I love your basket change to smyrna stitch! I just started worked on this design also, but am not as far along as your are. I also love your Midnight Watch--this is kitted up and ready for me to begin some day!

Gosh, Ranae, your needle must be smokin'! Such pretty results also. I love them all. We were in Mundelein in late July and early Aug. Very hot! Whew!
Nice projects you have going. I really liked that Victorian House especially. I look forward to seeing more progress on your pieces.
Love all your WIPs Ranae. You always have some nice ones on the go:)
What beauties you have in the works! I love the smyrna crosses and I would copy you but that would mean I would have to frog that portion since I have already stitched it and we know that isn't going to happen. LOL It does add a nice look to that big brown pot/basket.
oh, I love the smyrna stitches on the basket! Eyelets would look good too. Fortunately I haven't started the basket yet and definitely will incorporate some form of your idea...he, he great minds think alike. :)
I was taken by the Victorian House by Judith Kirby, as I have House #9 stitched from many years ago and is one of my favorites to display in the Fall. BUT I did know about the neighbors house with the Trick-or-Treaters! How precious! Hope I can find the pattern would love to add it to my Autumn collection. Thanks for sharing.
Edit.....I did not know about the neighbors house.....
