Spooky Town and spooky stitching

I 've seen on other blogs photo's of their Halloween villages and thought I would take a few of mine.

It is called Spooky Town by Lemax. I have purchased them over the years at Michaels Crafts. The sounds are awesome. more too come

Crossed Wind Collection 28 ct "Earth" "Tumbleweed" for ToT fairy, but I think it is too drab and Summer Gingham

Fabric from Joan's-Sew-B-It-XStitching Blog Candy Corn, Caramel Apple, Marshmellow Pumpkin and Witches Hour I received Christmas alot faster than my Halloween edition.

I should be getting my ToT threads and beads and a few more charts I ordered from The Stitcher's Closet.

I do want to change my header name, but I got a few replies not to.

I was thinking like "Desperately Stitching" which seems like I am always doing, lol.

Where do I start?

Hmmm! Well, Kellie had her tournament volleyball this weekend in a town that holds a Autumn Festival,

here are some pics.

They had lots of awesome craft vendors, music in the street, yummy food, etc.

The Stronghold Castle was also holding an English Fair, but I didn't get to go this year:(

This is my mantle all decked out for Halloween. I bought the witches boot and this adorable light up pumpkin

Look at this poor vacancy tree with no stitched ornies, just a couple of things from the fair. I guess I better get a move on that JCS halloween mag.

These caterpillars are everywhere this year, never seen so many.

I am doing some stitching and some reading. I had to checkout Bleeding Kansas again, so now I am going on 3 weeks reading it.

I am really trying focus my stitching on AAFG. I started this last year on Oct. 29, so I am really finally setting a goal to finish it by then. Yes! I said "Goal" lol

I have been stitching a little here and there on Emerald Mermaid, so here is my stitchy photo.

I have lots of new stitchy stash. I will be posting again in a few days.

I would love to change my header name, What do you all think?

I think something new would be nice.

I finished stitching this Mary Garry witch, all I have to do is find time to stitch another border to make it into a floss tag? maybe

I thought I would take a moment tonite to share something I dug out and started this evening. I read the Tokens and Trifles newsletter today. And just knew that last year I bought the stuff to make the witch.

If you have never visited the website, do so, it has some really cool freebies. I have made some with the perforated paper(cheaper) They have some awesome designs.


Look at my little sweetie pie sitting right next to one of my DMC cases. Do ya think someday I will turn my back and she will have them scattered all over???
Looks guilty to me, lol

Grandma loves her baby yes! She do!!
