Blogging from the bathroom
Just a quick note to tell ya all what's going on with me. Thanks for the e-mails wondering what I am doing and how the BBD is coming along.
We are in Hot Springs, Arkansas as of Tuesday for the FLW fishing tournament that I spoke about last Thanksgiving when we were here pre-fishing. Dan came in 26th place today with 3 fish weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz.
Friday is the second day to get in a top ten postition for the big day Saturday. If you are interested in watching the weigh-in, it will be live May 28th, Friday @4pm central time on http://www.flwoutdoors.com/ look for the All-American at Lake Degray. It will be broadcasted on TV on November 28th.
I continued to stitch on "Their Song" I will finish it and then try to make it look primitive to hide the bleeding. Thanks for all the comments and e-mails concerning it.
I did start on "Midnight Watch" by BBD and even started one of the stocking's, while here.
WE are going to Little Rock and then maybe Conway to the needle shops. You ask We???
Yes! I met someone here that stitches and she (Anna) stitches too. So tomorrow we are making the trek there, while the guys are fishing. She lives fairly close to me too, in Madison, Wisconsin
Now to explain the title. The other day I had to email Carol for the bathroom here at The Austin Hotel, 11th floor. Because that was the only place I could get a good free WiFi signal. I forgot I had the 3G with me. Now I am just sitting close to the bathroom and it seems to work on and off.
Sorry no pic's of anything. I forgot my connection cord for the camera that fits this computer. At least I have my camera, so I will have pics next week.
Kellie had 8th graduation too on Monday and we left right after that was done. Busy! Busy! Busy!

Chickadee finish
This is going to just take a moment to share with you.
"Gardener Chick" by Valerie Pfeiffer
Stitched on Water Lily Joblean w/DMC. My camera wouldn't pick up the green fabric.
Here's an update on "Their Song"
This piece is such a mess. Before I ironed it (R&R seems to wrinkle really bad) I spritzed it with water. The red bled. I soaked it in ice water right away. Then the Havanna bled a yellowish. You really can't tell in a dark room, but boy! in the sunlit, it looks terrible. You can really see it in this photo. I keep looking at it, to see if I should continue, what to do? what to do? I have to tomorrow to decide. It makes my tummy turn.
Do you think I should finish stitching it and then let it all bleed, so it looks the same or trash it?
I really appreciate you thoughts on this one

Emerald Mermaid
I have missed stitching on this blue fabric. The last time I posted was here, over a year ago. Sorry! for the creases, I don't want to iron it until I have to. The pic is bad too, it's so gloomy here today.
Thank you to all the e-mails I received for the color code on Frederick. You stitcher's are the best. I can start stitching on him again. But not today, it's Wednesday and that means I can stitch on "Their Song"

Bad! Bad! news!
I can't post any progress pics of Frederick, because I don't have any to show. I lost the color code page. I never made a working copy for it, just the pattern. I have looked everywhere for it. The only thing I could imagine that happened to it, was Brianna put it in the garbage. I have many laying around, so how come that one, lol No! It's not funny. The color code is not the same for Frederika, I checked that right away. It will be in the bottom of the basket for awhile now
So the good news...
I have been stitching on Emerald Mermaid, I will post a pic tomorrow after stitching a little more tonite.

She also sent me a photo of her husband's talent.
It's Trebarwith Strand. She wrote that it's a beach, a mile down the road from their house. I think Christine is luckest girl in the world to live in such a beautiful place on this earth. Thank You! for your generosity.
I sent something out too.
I stitched this pinkeep for Stephanie. It's a little Thank You! for the big package she sent me.
The design is from Mary Garry's Sewing Cabin "Forget-Me-Not-Sampler" pin cushion with color changes to make it look bright and not so prim for her.
O.k. now to show you my sale finds.
I am so excited about the bottom I found for the small flower frog I found a few weeks ago.
I think the bottom looks like a crown and it fits perfectly.
Nothing special about these scissors, but had to have them, all for a 1.00
The potholder? makes me smile.
I will leave you with an update on "Happy Camper"
Thanks so much for visiting.
