WooHoo!!!

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend. I am so happy to report that I found the perfect color for my CDC, dmc 4130 Chilean sunset, its so beautiful with the Sugared Ginger fabby. I thought there was no perfect color for it. I found it at a craft store in Wi. Here is a pic of my DH and I onthe 2007 Harley Ultra Supreme that we rented over the weekend. yes! that's my front yard with all the big Oak trees, so when fall comes that's the only place I will be... raking.
We went Saturday up to East Troy, Wi. to drop off a part to one of his customers. I have been wanting to hit a stitchery shop in Wi. I promise I not was looking for more stash. But.... The shop was going out of business and everything was 60% off, yeah everything. When I first went in, I thought it was only certain charts, but then this lady come in asking about the fabby. Well, just say I had to start to shop it all over again. Here is the pic of some of it. I bought fabric, sampler threads and WDW, Bent Creek, Cricket Collection,Calico Crossroads Shepards Bush and a kit, Flip-it's, Lizzie Kate, Mill Hill, loads of buttons. How could anyone pass up that sale????
We also rode Monday over to beautiful Savanna Il. this side of the Mississippi River and went to a bar museum where there was lots of antique and vintage motorcycles. It is usually full of Harleys, but was dead on Mon. I guess everyone was getting over a hang-over. Sunday nite was pretty wild we heard. They had a wet t-shirt contest with no t-shirts involved. My DH was dissappointed he missed that, lol. We really dont do the bar scene anyway. There just isnt enough time for that.
I have been saving the best for last. I started on Cirque Des Cercles yesterday and worked on it alot today. I am going to post a pic with my scanner to get the true colors after I get more done. I think I got a good start on it. I am so excited about it. I just love the colors. I do have to buy a few more skeins somewhere, I just hope they will match up. I will be posting on the Cirque des Cercles blog that Jamie started. Big Thanks to Jamie. If you have started or want to please join us.
Time to get ready for my DD's first baseball game of the season. It looks like rain. I hope it holds off. Oh yeah! coming in my next post. What has conquered my migraines? I have found the miracle and I cant wait to share. I feel sewww good about myself, not having a headache for a week now. Boy!!! does it make a difference in my lifestyle. Until next time.... Happy Stitching!!! Thank you all for your past comments. They really do make my day :)

If your feeling down...

A little email, I thought I would share, hope it brightens someones day.

Just in case you are having a rough day, here is a stress managementtechnique recommended in all the latest psychological journals. The funny thing is that it really does work. Be sure you follow all 7 steps.

1. Picture yourself lying on your belly on a warm rock that hangs out over a crystal clear stream.

2. Picture yourself with both your hands dangling in the cool running water.

3. Birds are sweetly singing in the cool mountain air.

4. No one knows your secret place.

5. You are in total seclusion from that hectic place called the world.

6. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with acascade of serenity.

7. The water is so crystal clear that you can easily make out the face of the person you are holding underwater.

See? It really does work. You're smiling already_:)

Quick Stitchy Post

Hello! I am going to make this a fast post, as my whole weekend is so hectic already and its only Friday.

I visited my favorite LNS 23 Clark Street and sorry to report that I did not find the right floss for my CDC the fabby is just too orangey and the only thing I liked was a darker brownish, which I was not too thrilled about. So, I might just change my fabby. I did pick up some other stash though. Bright Needle. Windy Hill chart. Some floss to kit together and some beads.I also treated myself to Summer Patches chart and the Adam Original pre-sewn pillow. There's my kitty on top of my stitchy stash. She likes it as much as me:) I also bought fabby for Painted Ponies in The cross Stitcher magazine June 1995. So, I couldn't wait to start yet another WIP. I am looking for the free chart Shine On Harvest Moon by Monster Bubbles. I saw it in a magazine Nov. 2006 for Wichelt. I called them and its not available anymore through them. If you know where I can find it or would love to share with me, I would be happy to send SASE for it. I am going to blow off some stink this weekend :O We rented a Harley for the whole weekend. I wont be getting too much stitching in. But, I will post piccy's of my travels this weekend. Hopefully I can visit a stitchy shop somewhere. Ahhh! There, so much for a short post. Until next time... Everyone have a beautiful fun-filled long (stitchy) weekend. Happy Memorial Day!!

Another finish... last one for awhile

Hi! I hope everyone is having beautiful weather like here in the upper midwest, U.S. It's almost too nice to be sitting at the puter, but I haven't posted for a week and wanted to catch on up somethings. First of all let me present my Halloween Holiday . This was stitched on 28ct Cognac- Cashel Linen with WDW"s 2/2. I want to order or make a tuckable for it.

Yipeee! I finally received the fabby for my Cercles Des Cirque, I can't wait to go to my LNS to pick out the floss. She also has some charts and threads, I have needed for awhile. The pic is kinda of blurry of the fabby, but's its beautiful. Sugared Ginger from Lakeside.

I finally started my Shepards Bush kit, "Baby, Bug, Ball". It's coming along quick. I worked on it just 2 nites a few hours. At first I thought the colors were kinda of drab, but I guess they look better now all put together. The chart is rather hard to read, I had to study it for awhile. I never did a Shepards bush that I recall, so it is rather different for me.It will probably sit on the back burner, when I get my floss to start CDC, that will be Wed. hopefully becuz she is closed on Mon. & Tues. and tomorrow are graduation parties.

I would like to Thank Shell for the nice ATC's and beautiful Six Strand Sweets she sent me from England. I sent her back a little stitchy package, which she has already received. I received my magazines from ebay and just love all the projects, (like I need more) I have my Caramel Apples now to start. I was strolling through some older magazines and found Painted Ponies in the Cross Stitcher June 1995 that I will kit up. Before I bore you guys to death, I came across this hint I would like to share, After threading your needle, push it through a fabric-softner sheet a few times. the needle will glide through the fabric without friction and the thread will remain untangled. To help reduce my stash, stay tuned for a stitchy give-away soon. As you can see, I havent figured out my piccy blog placement yet, but I guess as long as I get them uploaded it doesnt matter where they are placed. Happy Stitchy!! Thanks for those who left a commment on the last post about this post. I had to edit and allow comments, I must have hit the post options.

A finish & nature pics

Hello! Here is a piccy of two of three Kits (red fox) I was so lucky to get a picture of them before they got too timid. They have a den in a tree line right next to the one lane road I live down. The first time we saw them they looked like kittens, and the color was real dull brown/grayish looking. But now they are getting a beautiful reddish color to them and we don't see much of them anymore. Everyone seemed to like my birdie piccy, so here are a couple more. This is a Indigo Bunting, which we only see in the evenings feeding on thistle seed. This piccy shows a Red Headed Woodpecker at my cake.I do hope you can clicks these to get a larger look. I know my camera is not the best, latelty the pics have not been very sharp. The next pic is my finish, woohoo. It is June Berries (BBD) I stitched it on the called for 30 ct. R & R Sleepy Hollow with mostly GA, 2 over 2. I did a scan, wow the pic showed the real colors, but, unfornatelty it would not upload to blogger, so I am going to have to play with that. I think the resol. or size was to out of wack for blogger. I tried to find a frame yesterday, but could not find a square like to fit it and my LNS is not real close. So I will have to make my own and paint it. Halloweeen Holiday is coming along fine, nothing much to show a pic of. I am stilling waiting for my fabby for a project I am so excited about starting (CDC) I cant wait any longer and thinking I should go with a different fabby. I have not even picked up my L'Autumn as I am bored with using the fabby I started it on. I finally went about 2 weeks with no stash, the last is a few magazines I won on ebay. I have been trying to get the Cross Sticher Oct. 06. I seen and cant recall who's blog, but they had Casey Buonaugurio site and I browsed through it and loved a few of her designs and wanted the Caramel Apple Sampler, it stated it was only in this particular magazine. So, I cant wait to recieve them as it should be any day now. That will probably be my next project or the Carrot Cake Sampler. I have only seen the freebie Chocolate Covered Cherries stitched on a few blogs. My blogroll is only updating a few stitchers, :( anyone know why? Happy Mother's Day!! and Happy Stitchy Day!!

Another finish...

Hey!! I'm on a roll. I finished the BOAF up Sat. nite and went to get the framing Sun. and put it all together today. It was done on 32ct. barn owl with WDW, 2 over 2. I framed it for less then $8.00, frame and matting was both on sale.

I didn't touch my BBD, but I will probably post a finished product next time I post. I only have the border to finish. I was fumbling through my wreckage and found this BOAF "Halloween Holiday" WIP. So hopefully I will have this done before too long too.Isn't she cute? I am focusing on this and will hopefully start my Baby Bug Ball. I am still awaiting my fabric for Cirque Des Cercles.Well, baseball practice starts soon and I have to fix a bite for us to munch on. Happy Stitching!!
