Oh! Where do I start? or the end of 2013

Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas, it was busy, but nice here with the family.
It's so fun to have grandkids
I wanted to play catch up this years end
Here are some of my WIP's I started this year

I have had too many finishes in 2013 to post
I started Emerald Mermaid years ago, it's my goal to finish in 2014

Although this doesn't make a dent in my pile, heres a sampling of some of the things I have kitted and ready for 2014

Disclaimer... I have the right to change patterns and not to finish any of the above, not that I won't try
Here are some pics Christmas morning of my wonderful family
The grandkids

Our brats, haha

Me and Dan with the babies

Wishing you all a fabulous and healthy stitchylicious 2014
Thanks to all for visiting my corner of the world this year and years past
God Bless!!!

Bee square pincushion, wahoo!!

Carré d'abeilles by Jardin Prive

Bee square pincushion was stitched on 32ct white jobelan w/DMC
I was so excited I forgot to stick some pins in it.
Not very good pic's either, better in real life

My chart is spoken for and I know Jardin's are kind of hard to find in the U.S. or they use to be
I bought mine at The Inspired Needle, tel:(630) 243-9620, Cathy carries more of the Jardin too
I'm posting the info, because some have already ask me to trade it or where did I purchased the chart

Have a blessed Sunday everyone

Inspire Me Retreat

Good evening!
I'll let most of the pictures do the talking

Three long tables, plum full of stitchy goodness

Cathy's set up for buying stash

There was 35 smalls for exchange

After being opened...fabulous wonderful things, I wanted them all, lol

Diane and me with her exchange,BBD pillow. I also picked hers last year, out of all of them. I must like her package wrapping. FYI-that is the Diane that had the BBD shaker box finish on the last post

This is Annette with my exchange, Prairie Schooler flat fold easel

My stash and the box we received from Cathy
We also got these needle keepers from a fellow stitcher, who painted them for Cathy to us, sorry! I regret I forget her name, very talented lady

This was our project to complete during the retreat
I completed mine, although I didn't stitch Needles on the gauze that was included

Anna and I started another project to complete by next years retreat, Jardin Prive
Old Glory by Rosewood Manor, which we both completed with little time to spare before this retreat
Looking at it now, I'm very proud I stitched so much, with all the laughing we did
If I recall, I frogged once

Here's the whole gang taken before or after our prime rib dinner, yummy!!

Do you see any familiar faces??
Notice Cathy posing in the front, just like a cheerleader
She should be proud, she did an awesome job putting it all together
Everyone really enjoyed themselves
We can't wait for next year

Cathy...Thanks for a super fun Shipshewana weekend

Sweet Dreams!!!
