Inspired Summer Seminar 2014

Happy Funday Monday!

This past weekend The Inspired Needle shop had Paulette Stewart (Plum Street Samplers) for a workshop on Saturday. It was held at The Ruffled Feathers Country Club in Lemont, IL.

Paulette is sooo fun and sooo sweet

There's Cathy the shop owner in the back

We received the instructions and material to make these strawberries as well

Here's the kit we received
The pattern will be available a year after the workshop

It was also fun to meet new friends and chat with old friends

Let me introduce....

Mrs. Pearson

Design by Carriage House Samplings, 2009
40ct summer khaki linen w/DMC

I probably would have never stitched her, but I seen one finished in person, up in Madison when Kathy Barrick had her class. I think it's very unusual, maybe that is what drew me in to stitch her
The best thing...she will fit in a 5X7 frame that I can pick out in practically any store

Happy stitching!!

I'm so excited....

To start this Halloween Mystery SAL

Early Witches
Designed by The Primitive Hare
It can be purchased through www.theprimitivehare.com
Parts are revealed through October
I even have the 30ct Old Salem linen called for, hand dyed by Isabella herself

I want to start it sooo bad, but I have to finish my last post WIP, she's dying to be introduced

I'm getting excited about going to Paulette Stewart's (Plum Street Samplers) workshop through The Inspired Needle, this weekend. Is anyone else going? That I don't know about
Make it a great stitchy day :)

A weeks worth of...

Stitching
I started this last Friday
It's not my style but I love her funkiness, Victorian look and even maybe a little masculinity.
If you haven't seen this design, you wouldn't believe what's on her hat.

When I get her done, I will give her a formal introduction
Until then...

Happy stitching!!
