I have a good start on the Algerian Eye Stitches for the alphabet, they are fun.

Bits and pieces of Vintage Lace

Hello!

I really need to get back to Vintage Lace by Rosewood Manor and finish it
All I have is the floral that goes in this rectangle

Here is a sneak peek of bits of what's done, I don't want to spoil the whole finish for you

Country Sampler escape WIPs

Happy Good Friday

Land of the Free by Willow Hill Samplings

Birdie stitching roll by La D Da

I bought 10 WIPs and they are the only ones I pulled out to stitch on for the 4 days

This is what barb gifted everyone at Country Sampler great escape 2nd floor, a beautiful box and a sampler notebook, great for my wish lists and needs

And this is what Anna sewed for everyone...

A bowl cozy? A bowl sits inside, you use the corners to pick it up, so you don't burn your fingers when taking out of the microwave, clever!!!!

Thank you ladies

This is most of the stash I bought

Have a blessed Easter

2nd floor escape

Good afternoon
This last weekend we stayed at The Country Sampler 2nd floor hideaway, in Spring Green, Wisconsin
We started on Thursday and stayed till Sunday, which seemed like it past faster then lightening.

Barb, Diane, Anna and me
Linda, Terry and Anne
I hope no one has hurt feelings not being included, but it only sleeps 7, and there are plenty of open weekends to stay again and again and again

Look at all this food...

We stayed in for every meal, each of us planned a meal breakfast, lunch and dinner
We sure didn't starve, lol

I brought my beads and findings for everyone to make scissors FOBs
Some of these were all already made
Each made their own personal
They all turned out awesome and it was a break from stitching too

I have to remember to show the other little gifts that were brought also for each of us
Next posting also will be my WIPs, stayed tuned

Snooty Parrots Sampler

Good evening!!!
I started the snooty parrots sampler by Barbara Ana

Stitching on 40ct vintage light examplar w/GA threads

I wish I could take better photos of this 1938 tape measure. My mom gave it to me awhile ago, it was my grandmothers. It is the neatest thing ever
It is called a Tattle-Tape for women, it-tells-on-you. It has what's good figures for your bust waist and hips. Some of the things on the tape is For beauty, health and appearance check your weight and measurements each month. If your weight is within 10% of our charts and your proportions check with our tables.... You have a lovely figure. If this tape tattles on figure faults, remember, Charis and Swavis foundation garments always improve figure lines. Copyright by Roger Mattenson - Minneapolis, Minn, 1938

Almost time for bed, the warm fresh air today, tired me out
Goodnight!!
