Her Majesty

Happy Friday!!

While I was waiting for my dad at the hospital for outpatient surgery, I stitched up this little baby. It's the companion pincushion for Honeybee Hill by Blackbird Designs

I put it together today, filled it with crushed walnuts that I bought at the pet store. (HINT).... I store the bag in the freezer, so it kills the bug eggs

Thanks for all the visits and the comments, that what keeps me in stitches

Good day!!!

My snooty bag

Happy sunny Saturday here in N. Illinois
It's going to be a beautiful day.
We are going to ride the Harley to kellies conference softball game.

Anyhoo, I posted to show you my snooty parrots project bag that I had Faye at Carolinastitcher.blogspot.com make for me
I love it!
I bought a yard of material, Faye made me the pincushion for the left over material, good deal!

Here's my progress

Here's the close up fabric. I bought it through spoonflower.com and had it shipped right to Faye.

Thanks Faye, your sewing is fabulous

Make it a great day

Lots of stitchy happiness

Hello stitching peeps,

I took the Kathy Barrick workshop on making a journal.
We covered it in fabric, then we fill the pages whatever we fancy
Here is mine

One of the designs we had to pre-stitch

The first page I used scrap book paper, rubber stamps, and Kathy's signature,

Another pre-stitched design

And yet another one, there was one more design, but I didn't get that stitched, soon though
Other pages...

A couple pages dedicated to my sister, birthday card and a valentine that I took out of her scrap book from a long long time ago

It was a really fun day and to meet Kathy was a joy. She's soooo nice and soo creative.

While I was at Lynn's of Madison taking the class, I bought six frames.
Here are four I framed right away, like as soon as I got home

I took out a corner desk in my sewing room, so now I have lots more space to fill the walls. The only real space I have left

Well that's all for now
Happy stitching!!
