Sooo nice to be home...

Happy Tuesday!!!
I have all my Christmas lights up outside, what a chore, but it's done.

We had a great time in Arkansas. We stayed in a cabin in Caddo Valley south of Hot Springs. The temp was a little cooler then I hoped it would be. Great sweater weather, unlike here up north.
First of all a few snaps of the lake

And this is what I did between fishing

Currants, Coxcomb and Rose pincushion by The Goode Huswife

I didn't get around to the BOAF ornie. I had started this awhile ago with just one of the borders. This is how much I stitched when I was not fishing or snacking.

I took Friday off from being in the boat and did a little shopping

Do you want to see what I bought????

Two awesome needleshops. The Stitcher's Garden in Conway and Stitch-N-Time in Little Rock. Thanks! to the ladies on the 123 message board.

I also visited a yarn shop Knit Unto Others and couldn't resist these colors for a blankie for a special little girlDora Explorer colors. I haven't crochet it seems like forever. I started it in the cabin that night.

So after we got home I crocheted this

and this

two wonky dishclothes. I need more practice, lol

I have so much to do around here that I will NOT be posting until after the new year. I will try to keep up reading and commenting here and there.

There is the house to get ready, shopping, wrapping, decorating and planning a Christmas Day menu. We are going to the tree farm this evening.

I want to wish everyone a very happy warm holidays with lots of friends and family. I do hope Santa brings you everything you want, so Be Good.

Happy Holidays... my friends
