Happy Monday!!!
Thanks to the inspiration of Natalie I started this on Saturday night despite all my purchases that day..

"There's No Place Like Home" by The Drawn Thread

It was a wonderful day to take a drive to Welcome Stitchery on Saturday. I didn't take any pictures. There was 5 of us. Here is a little of what I bought

There was more like needles and fabrics, nothing real exciting.
I am so sad to hear kathy from CHS is going to stop designing. I am such a big fan of hers. I did buy a few charts last nite. Just because I refuse to pay high prices on ebay for designers that quit. Like The Goode Huswife, I have purchased a few charts well above retail. Now only to find you can get them again from her website at retail, how disappointing.
How come no one ever told me about this wonderful fabulous BLOG? My Country Cottage Garden, I love it!!!
Here are a few pictures from by backyard. You would never imagine all the noise coming from these two. I had to close my windows. Yes! It was that bad

Thanks for stopping by

Nice stash and nice start too! I'm sad about Kathy as well. She will be sorely missed for sure. Aren't Canadian Geese noisy? lol! I can imagine you had to close the window!

Great stash and I like your new start. I'm really sorry to hear about Kathy too, but maybe in the future she'll design again! We can always hope, right? And thanks for the link to the blog. I love it. I've been wanting some ideas just like those, so I thank you, thank you!!

Cathy is quitting?! NO! I'd better snag all the charts I don't have before they become extinct. I like her so much!

Isn't NPLH fun to stitch?! I love the Threadworx overdyeds a lot.

Nice new stash! Love your new start, too. Hey, you'll have to stitch BBD's latest Loose Feather--forget the name of it--Winter Garden?--in honor of those geese. LOL I will miss Kathy's designs, too, but hope she comes back to it at some point.

Your new start is looking good, enjoy your new stash.

In a way, the geese looked so pretty by the lake.

Your geese look so lovely.

Oh, those skeletons are a hoot, Ranae! Hadn't seen that chart before... Love your new start, too!

Ugh--those geese! We have problems with them visiting our pond every year and making an absolute mess along the grassy banks. We have to chase them away each time they attempt to visit just to be able to walk near the pond! They are lovely to look at, but...

Your new start looks great. Nice stash too. I will need to decide which of Kathy's charts that I just couldn't possibly live without.

I also had a bit of a purchasing spree at Kathy's etsy shop upon hearing that she's retiring. Sigh. I'm going to miss her!!

I believe you that Canadian geese are noisy....and messy. They love it here too but never come to our yard. I did have one "bomb' my windshield once though and was very glad not to have a convertible!
