Finished pillow and checkerboard cake

Your pillow came out fantastic. I think that's the perfect finishing for that design. And I love those checkerboard cakes. My DD loves those so I make them quite a bit. Your pictures look so good that I want one now - but still don't have working ovens! DRAT!!

Your fabric selection for your pillow is fabulous. Stitching is pretty awesome too. I love it.....can't lookat the cake....just looking will give me weigh watchers points to count.

Pillow is really sweet! Love the ornament from the previous post too. I've seen those pans to make the checkerboard cake and have never tried one...complex look for not so hard a thing...
