Peace Inside

Happy Sunny Saturday from N. Illinois

Peace Inside by Midsummer Night Designs

stitching on 36ct PTP Truffle w/ GA threads

I am planning on going to The Inspired_Needle tomorrow (Sunday) to stitch with the gals again.

Then on the 2nd there is a Welcome_Stitchery GTG, so if you can make it, let me know and I will look for you.

Peace!!

Edited to add:

Where is the best place to get a Vera Bradley for my WIP's??

And are they called totes for sewing stash or are they something else??

Going to these GTG's a girl needs something pretty to put her WIP's

Thanks in advance for your help

I think most people use the laptop portfolios from VB for individual projects. Is that what you mean? Some colors are on sale right now at the VB website.

Lovely start and congrats on your awesome finish of Holiest of Nights. As for Vera, I am a big fan and it depends on how much you want to hold. I usually keep my wip's on the go with the get carried away tote, it's one of the largest totes. A Vera tote is smaller or the laptop portfolio!

I bet there is VB stuff somewhere in Crystal Lake!!! There is some in a shop in my town; don't know if they are open on Sunday but I can check...Also there is an outlet mall in Aurora that has a VB outlet store. Have not been there but I hear it is fab!!! Also, there is a VB store in Oak Brook, IL. Also, they have a great website. I got the new summer catalog in the mail last week; will bring with me tomorrow.

Hi!! Love the piece- I think I have it too (LOL). I am working on Garden Angels by the same designer. Thanks for your comment on my post and I am sooo sorry I will miss you tomorrow at Inspired Needle!!!!! I am actually going to Galena for a few days with friends- it's our Spring Break and we are renting a house in Eagle Ridge. As for the Vera- on I88 there is the Aurora Outlet mall and there is a Vera Outlet Store (insert squeal of delight!). The Vera tote is awesome as are any of the totes and they have a HUGE selection too!!! So...that COULD be on your way down if you plan it right. Have fun tomorrow and tell everyone there "hi" and hope to see you NEXT month at IN!!!

Peace Inside looks great so far. Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow! The VB Outlet in Aurora is great but check online first. You might find some good deals there and save yourself the trip. Lots of different totes; Vera, Villager, Get Carried Away, and they're all different sizes. Also, Vera shop in Oak Brook...you can stop before you get to the shop!

Just found your blog and enjoyed looking around. Great finishes and I love your newest WIP.

I think it's best to go look at all the different sizes of totes from VB and see what works for what you want. I have several different sizes that I use for different things, big and smaller pieces. Enjoy shopping!

Hi Ranae!
I will see you in a few hours at the Inspired Needle. My favorite style bag of VB is the Get Carried Away Tote. Lots of space and pockets. Another great one but smaller is the Vera!
You could stop at the VB store in Oak Brook or have a look at our bags first LOL

Go to the outlet mall in Aurora - off 88. Best place to buy Vera Bradley in my opinion
