Surprise in my mail today

Alot of people know I have a stitcher's Bible that I carry with me when I go stash shopping

My first one was a big one and then I started a smaller one. They both have lots of scribbling of the list I need for this and that stitching. I love the bigger one because it is flatter and easier not to lose.

I stitched a freebie of Mindi's and she sent out a little package.

She sewed a cover for a notebook, a perfect stitcher's Bible for me. Now I have to find the time to combine the two notebooks together in this one, Cool Beans!!!

Love the fabric colors

This was also in the pkg. a little orange bag containing Altoids, Avon lip balm, some kleenex and two halloween pencils.

Thanks so much Mindi for the generous package. I have been trying to leave comment on your post. I hit the button and they dissolve into thin air, I don't know whats up with that

I forgot to mention a few post ago, I deleted my facebook, so many of you have lost a friend, it was me

I can't wait for the weekend!!! It's the Inspired_Needle retreat in Shipshewana, In.

Anna and I are leaving Thursday morning and staying in LaPorte, In. so we can meet some of the gals at House_of_Stitches at 10am on Friday. It will be too much traffic to fight going thru Chicago from Rockford early Friday morning. You won't get another post out of me until next week and then it will be a retreat post, yay!!!!

Happy Stitching!!!!!

Wow! what a happy mail day!! A Stitching Bible...what a great idea! Good job on deleting FB!!! I am on the verge of doing that myself! I am just so sick of the useless/dumb changes they keep going through. It's just annoying!! I made a page JUST for family and CLOSE friends, and am deleting my big page (the one where i have everyone and their mother on it!) I want to focus more on my stitching and family! Happy stitching! (I'm also having vanishing comments too! hmmm...=/)

What a beautiful gift from a fellow stitcher! I am sure you will get much use out of it (if your first image on this post is any indication). My mom used to go to Shipshewana at least once per year to shop. She hasn't been in years and I have never been. I hear it's a great town to shop! Have fun and safe travels!!!

All the gifts are delightful (and I love the Stitching Bible idea!) but the thing that I found the coolest is that you said "Cool Beans"! My sister says that all the time and she is the only person I know that does!! Cool Beans indeed!!

Wow, what great gifts! I'm contemplating giving up FB, too. The only reason that I haven't is because I'm nosey enough to like to check out what my kids are doing and what my SILs post about my nieces & nephews.

ENJOY the retreat!!

Lovely gifts from Mindi.

I'm having problems with some blogs if I try and comment using Internet Explorer. If I use Google Chrome or Firefox it's fine.

Enjoy the retreat!
