Road Trip Minnesota

Happy Wednesday!!!

A short road trip took us this past weekend to Bloomington, Mn.

to the..

I uploaded more photo's of the inside of the mall, but they are coming out sideways, urgh!!!

We visited a Cabela's store,

Look at these silly girls, Yes! they are with me

I have no idea who that man is, he just whipped around the corner to get in the snap

Then we headed to...

OMGosh! this store has the most models I have ever seen in a store. And all the accessories for your stitching needs, its so awesome.
I did get a few things...

Four charts were fifty cents with green stitckers, 30ct confederate Gray and 32ct pecan butter linen, two charts from With Thy Needle & Thread.

I did see two OOP BBD Loose Feathers there, they were #2 With My Needle and #4 Pumpkin Blossom Needle Case, so if you are looking for them you better make a call fast.

Here's an update of Molly that I started on New Years Day

It sounds like we have a major snow storm coming our way to northern Illinois tomorrow, stitch time is all I'm thinking of, lol

They are saying 4-6 inches, yay!!!

My plans...

I need to finish Sergei and start Easter Parade

Happy Stitching!!!!!

Lucky you! I would love to go to that mall someday, especially now that I know about Stitchville! The Cabela's store looks like the Bass Pro Shop here.

Ranae - I was in ND/MN for a family reunion several years ago. My Mom and I stopped in Mall of America and also Stitchville - which is I think the most awesome cross stitch store ever - the number of models is amazing and the charts, the fabric, etc - WOW!

Looks like a great trip with your family, Ranae! I'm so envious of your trip to Stitchville!! How wonderful to see so many models in person. I'll bet you were tempted to buy a lot more than you actually came home with :)

Oh Ranae, what a great trip!!! Looks like you had a ball! Love all your goodies. I finished that With Thy Needle and Thread Heart piece. It's adorable. If you remind me, I'll bring it to Sunday stitch at Cathy's. Happy stitching tomorrow!!!

Sounds like a fun trip, Ranae! I've never been to MoA and Stitchville. That is on my list of places to go. The end of this month we are headed to Country Sampler. Can't wait!

I'm hoping the snow stays away. I have been loving the warm weather!

Cabela's looks like an interesting store. You found some great things at Stitchville! Sounds like you visited at a convenient time with the snow storm in the forecast - lots of fun things to stitch. :)

I've heard of that mall but have never been there. I LOVE Cabela's! Such a fun place to see :o)

Uuuuuu...I'm SO jealous! I bet that was a fun trip. Look at all the yummy stash you got too.

Great progress on Molly.

Perfect trip if the husband comes along, Cabella's for him and Stitchville for me! MN is a bit far.....we've made it to Wisconsin and that's it. My co-workers son just moved to Minneapolis...so that's about all the connection I'll have.

LOL at the girls, looks like they had a great time. You were restrained with the stash purchases, lovely charts, well done.

My parents went to Mall of America years ago and had a great time. Is that stitchy store at the mall?
