A Tisket, A Tasket, A surprise

Happy Tuesday!!!!

I finished A Tisket A Tasket by Little By Little

It was the March small for the 2012 Year of Smalls BLOG

Stitched on 32ct cream

I thought the linen was a little to bright for me, so I soaked it in coffee then baked it
The results...

A tisket a tasket
A green and yellow basket
I wrote a letter to my love
And on the way I dropped it,
I dropped it,
I dropped it,
And on the way I dropped it
A little boy he picked it up and put it in his pocket

I then finished it in a small pillow

A surprise in my mailbox, woohoo!!!!!

Nataly sent me in appreciation of me drawing her name for the LHN chart and threads
some of her needles and the best part they are my favorite color purple

Thank you so much for thinking of me. I have admired and even tried to win some of these on her blog

They are fantastic and so pretty.

Thanks again, Nataly

Anna was down from Wisconsin to stitch with me on a Sunday. She actually got me stitching on A Quaker Christmas a long lost WIP, lol. I will post pictures of it on my next post

Happy Stitching!!!!!

Oh that song brought back memories! I used to skip through the house singing it all Easter. One Easter I got a green and yellow basket and it was the pride of my heart.

Baking the coffee in was brilliant! I'll have to try it sometime.

That was very brave of you to do the coffee soak! I want to try that sometime; maybe when we are in Terre Haute! You can coach me. Can't wait to see Christmas Quaker. Glad you won some needles!

This is an adorable design! I love how you baked it! I'm so afraid of baking my linens in case it catches on fire! I don't trust my oven!!

Oh Ranae, what a lovely little finish. I love Little By Little designs so much and could stitch them all the time - if there weren't many other designers out there whose creations I love, too, lol.
