I stitched this little guy up yesterday and finished into a wee little pillow, while staying in from the snowstorm
A freebie by Bent Creek, stitched on 40ct maritime with DMC, the background is the backing fabric I used. I didn't like it, it frays too much
We had 12" of snowfall with lots of drifting
Here's what it looks like out my back window
Oh, the groundhog did see his shadow this morning
Stay warm and safe this day

Bent Creek must like groundhogs since they just issued another freebie on the same theme! The one you stitched is a cutie.
You can keep all of that snow at your house, thank you.
Cute little project.... brr that looks like the perfect weather to be inside stitching.
Perfect cute project for stitching while waiting for Spring and seeing all the snow outside your home.
Pretty!! love Annette
Wow..that's a lot of snow. We had some flurries this morning and 17 degrees and now it's sunny and warm. Cute little groundhog finish.
LOL!! Never saw this design!
Love that groundhog day piece. So cute! I'm sick of the snow. We got a good dose too.
What a cute little stitch. My dear friend in Chicago had 19 inches in her yard.
Love your sweet finish for groundhog day. I could use a snow day :)
Your snow is gorgeous! And that little groundhog pillow is just too cute : )
Lovely little groundhog. Unfortunately I missed watching the corrensponding movie yesterday. So I'll have to watch it this evening.
So cute!! We do not have this in UK but your finish is just really sweet :)
Yeah, looks the same up here.
I have been wanting to stitch that little guy up for years. Maybe in time for next year!!
OMGosh! The groundhog and his shadow are too too cute!
Great finish!! :D
Great finish!! :D
Oh. My. Stars! That is the cutest little thing ever. What a perfect thing to stitch on a snow day too.
We got over a foot of snow too, ugh!!! I'm so ready for winter to be over. Love the little Ground Hog finish, he's so cute! I've done him a couple times myself, as when I did one for me before, both my mom and daughter thought they had to have one as well, LOL, good thing he's a quick fun stitch.
