I finished Wicked Witch by La~D~Da
I then attempted to make it old and dingy looking, going for a very primitive look
I am going to add some old buttons versus the little motifs in the bare spots
I pretty sure the linen was Havanna, I stitched the black with silk and the orange and purple in DMC. It sure looks different then the chart model
I use the Instant Antique, I have lots of stitchers tell me when you use it, it leaves little dots, they didn't like it. Here's a HINT..... Wet the linen with water, then spray on the desired amount, I then ironed it, till I get the effect I want, ta~da!!!!!!
Me thinks... this will be made into a bell pull
Happy Stitching!!!!

I like this! You have really made it your own with the personalisation. You're so brave though spraying it after you've put all that work in!
Wow it's so
Pretty xx
Great finish! Love the aging. I have this one in my stash...some day.
Stunning, the ageing product really is amazing.
Fantastic finish!!
where can you get instant antique?
It turned out great, Ranae! I think it will make a wonderful bell pull.
Enjoy your weekend!

That's really cute - nice finish! I'd be singing that song from the Wizard of Oz the whole time I was stitching it LOL. Catching up your previous posts - what lovely projects you're working on - you are making good progress on your WIP list.
It looks just wonderful. I have never tried aging a piece. I think I'm a coward!
Beautiful finish! The antiquing looks great too!
