I'm so in love with Spot the Horse finished into a pouch
Here's my dear granddaughter modeling the pouch for me
She loves it too and keeps asking if she can take it home, I will one of these days
The backing is like a silk fabric, cut from vintage old scarf found at a second hand store
And here's a better up close view
The design is by Carriage House Samplings. It's a partial design and I also changed out the sun color to accomdiate the fabric. I want to give Marly over at samplers-and-santas.blogspot credit for the inspiration to a pouch idea.
And hot off the hoops is Mustard Seed Manor Sewing Pouch
By Stacy Nash Primitives. I have to find the black wool and golden brown wool to get it finished.
Here's a snap of the inside of the book, and the fabric that come with the chart
Have a happy and safe Independance Day

A wonderful horse and a very cute little girl!! I am trying to get up my nerve to try one of those bags. I am a coward so I would love to find a pattern.
Lovely pieces! The little bag is just perfect for the little girl :)
Your granddaughter and the bag make a perfect combination.
Beautiful finish. Your choice of fabric for the design is simply perfect and looks good on your granddaughter too.
