Long time, No blog

Hello!! All my awesome talented stitchy friends,
I haven't shared anything since Thanksgiving. I have so many things going that I'm not making any progress on any one project.

I did finish Stacy Nash, Colonial Homestead Pinkeep Drum

Anna and I made something for each other, for Christmas rather then give more to stitch, lol

She sewed me this quilt bag made with blackbird design fabrics and stitched a little Just Nan mouse

I just adore them. I have mousey sitting in my wood box keeping me company while I stitch

This is what I made Anna
Isabella from The Primitive Hare is the designer
I found this in the 2015 Christmas issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine
I packed it with sawdust. I love the smell of sawdust in a finish. I always forget to add a little lavender

I'll be back another day with some WIPs

Oh I love your drum pinkeep ~ been wanting to make one of them but always think they would be hard to do.
Lovely gifts that you received and gave ~ that mouse is soooo tiny!!!
Nice hearing from you!
Many Blessings & Happy Stitchin'

Your drum turned out super! What lovely gifts you received from Anna; I really like the patchwork bag. Your Christmas hare to Anna is sweet. Welcome back to blog land!

Your drum pinkeep and bunny pillow are fantastic. I really love both finishes and the stitching is just beautiful! What fun gifts you received, too. The little mouse is precious and who can't use another tote bag?

Yay! So happy to see you post AND leave me a comment, thank you!
Was the drum hard to do? I have yet to get one done!!
What fabulous gifts you got. Neat, neat fabric used in that bag.
Oh that bunny you made. I could just squeeze him.

The drum is so cute! You did a great job on it.

Love your new patchwork bag. I'm sure you will have no trouble finding uses for it.
And your pillow made a great gift in return.
