Penny Harvest

Good Morning,

I finished another WIP. I started this last October. I bought the pattern at Inspire Me Retreat and just now got it stitched. I'm thinking maybe a flatfold finish. I stitched it on cocoa linen, but the photo shows much lighter color. I love the colors in this.
Penny Harvest by Jan @ Tree of Life Samplings.
Thank you for putting out charts I just can't resist, lol
Keep up the great work, Jan

Here's Penny America Jan also designed. I stitched this years ago, one of my favorites
It's trying to rain here this morning, I hope it's sunny where you live. I love rain, it gives me more time to stitch and less yard work, doh!!!!
I've really been getting my WIP's done. I have been focusing on one at a time. I didn't realize I could finish them faster then skipping from one WIP to another, ok well I did but don't tell anyone, ha
I've been good not to start anything, but it's killing me!!!!!

Make time to stitch today and everyday ✂️

I'm a proud finisher

Good evening!!

I have to share my project bag I made this afternoon. I absolutely love it, and it was sew easy.
I watched Vonna from The Twisted Stitcher tutorials, so all of  her instructions gets the credits.
Sorry! I can't get a hyperlink.
It's not perfect, but I'm sure they will get better with each one I make.
This one measures 11 x 13, perfect for my stitchy projects

I'm off for some dinner, I'm so famished, but I worked hard, haha
I think it took me about 1-1/2 hrs from fresh start to total finish.

I wish everyone Easter Blessings!!

Long time, No blog

Hello!! All my awesome talented stitchy friends,
I haven't shared anything since Thanksgiving. I have so many things going that I'm not making any progress on any one project.

I did finish Stacy Nash, Colonial Homestead Pinkeep Drum

Anna and I made something for each other, for Christmas rather then give more to stitch, lol

She sewed me this quilt bag made with blackbird design fabrics and stitched a little Just Nan mouse

I just adore them. I have mousey sitting in my wood box keeping me company while I stitch

This is what I made Anna
Isabella from The Primitive Hare is the designer
I found this in the 2015 Christmas issue of Punch Needle & Primitive Stitcher magazine
I packed it with sawdust. I love the smell of sawdust in a finish. I always forget to add a little lavender

I'll be back another day with some WIPs

Snowy day

But first I have a finish...

The Heartland Sampler by The Scarlett House.
Tanya had an event earlier this year and this was the sampler she created for us Midwestern folks.
I love everything about it.

Here are a few WIPs I'm working on

Got snow??
We did,
My daughter and grand kiddies

Our first snow was very accumulated.
This is only half of it

Happy Holidays!!

Just Fall Stuff

Good Sunday morning to all

I'm a few days late...
So getting back to the Count Me Inspired retreat in Shipshewana

Each night we found a treat on our space
We have a beautiful wooden chart holder, with a magnet for your needle
A colorful bag with finishing a FOB for it, with matching thread, awesome!!
And a Just Another Button Company kit to make a spoolkeep
Fun!!!!

I bought stash

And started Penny Harvest of course

Jan had some models set up in the store
The new Penny Harvest I started is on the right side
Jan finished a model and bought that fabulous cutting board at the antique store to mount it on, in the middle of the photo, love the cut out heart.
Here are just a few other snaps of the store set up

I also started and finished a Lizzie Kate on the Flapper linen I bought just for it
The linen is really deep purple, I couldn't capture the real color. I'm pretty sure the right color is in my stash photo, I'll give you a minute to scroll back up, lol

I also started Moonlit Garden at the retreat

I stitched mostly on The Heartland Sampler while I was there

Oh... And I bought this dough bowl at the antique store that is right by the Farmstead Hotel

I love love the red, see the finger imprint on the left.

I finished Penny Pumpkin before I left for the retreat and forgot to post it
By the Scarlett House

Maybe, just maybe I will get time later or tomorrow to finish up my finishes
I need to get back to stitching Harvest Keeper by Plum Streeet

Here's two my my grandkids playing in our leaves. Anyone need any leaves?  They are free
They are the big ugly brown oak leaves, nothing pretty about them. But they are fun to jump in
We have eight huge trees in our front yard. Our next home will be tree-free, haha

Make it a great day :)
