A finish & nature pics

Hello! Here is a piccy of two of three Kits (red fox) I was so lucky to get a picture of them before they got too timid. They have a den in a tree line right next to the one lane road I live down. The first time we saw them they looked like kittens, and the color was real dull brown/grayish looking. But now they are getting a beautiful reddish color to them and we don't see much of them anymore. Everyone seemed to like my birdie piccy, so here are a couple more. This is a Indigo Bunting, which we only see in the evenings feeding on thistle seed. This piccy shows a Red Headed Woodpecker at my cake.I do hope you can clicks these to get a larger look. I know my camera is not the best, latelty the pics have not been very sharp. The next pic is my finish, woohoo. It is June Berries (BBD) I stitched it on the called for 30 ct. R & R Sleepy Hollow with mostly GA, 2 over 2. I did a scan, wow the pic showed the real colors, but, unfornatelty it would not upload to blogger, so I am going to have to play with that. I think the resol. or size was to out of wack for blogger. I tried to find a frame yesterday, but could not find a square like to fit it and my LNS is not real close. So I will have to make my own and paint it. Halloweeen Holiday is coming along fine, nothing much to show a pic of. I am stilling waiting for my fabby for a project I am so excited about starting (CDC) I cant wait any longer and thinking I should go with a different fabby. I have not even picked up my L'Autumn as I am bored with using the fabby I started it on. I finally went about 2 weeks with no stash, the last is a few magazines I won on ebay. I have been trying to get the Cross Sticher Oct. 06. I seen and cant recall who's blog, but they had Casey Buonaugurio site and I browsed through it and loved a few of her designs and wanted the Caramel Apple Sampler, it stated it was only in this particular magazine. So, I cant wait to recieve them as it should be any day now. That will probably be my next project or the Carrot Cake Sampler. I have only seen the freebie Chocolate Covered Cherries stitched on a few blogs. My blogroll is only updating a few stitchers, :( anyone know why? Happy Mother's Day!! and Happy Stitchy Day!!

I love your finish! CONGRATS!

And the bird pictures are really lovely!!
But those kits are just adorable. Last summer, I was walking early in the a.m. and a fox family ran across the road in front of me. They didn't stop to admire me as a matter of fact they dashed across and I was left to think to myself, did I really see that?! Nature holds many beautiful things for us to admire! Thanks for sharing some of yours :)

Congratulations on the June Berries finish--it is lovely.

I really enjoyed the fox and bird pictures. Thank you for sharing them.

As for your blogroll not working properly--I think it just does that sometimes(often)--at least it was that way for me. I finally switched to Google Reader and love it.

The fox kits were adorable, they must be so much fun to actually be able to see.

June Berries turned out great, congratualtions on a lovely finish. When I scan a picture of my projects, instead of taking a picture, the color is generally so much more accurate as well. One thing that might have caused the scanning/upload problem is that on mine when I scan it comes up as a BIT file, which is quite large. If I do a save as and do as a JPEG file it is compressed and smaller in memory. I can't tell any difference in the quality when I actually post the picture, but blogger, webshots, and other sites I work with don't seem to have a problem with JPEG's, where as with BIT files they won't always go.

Casey's projects are so fun, I'm glad you could get the magazine with the one pattern you were looking for. I loved doing the Chocolate Covered Cherries freebie. Hot Cocoa is already in my stash, and I want to add Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake at some point as well.

Congarts on the finish it looks great. I use bloglins and they sometimes do that to me as well. Though I can't tell you why, sorry.
I think it is great that you have foxes close to your home. They are georgeous little animals.

the birdie pics are great,so much more colourful than our birds here in England.
June Berries stitched up well,it is always hard to find square frames ready made.

Oh I just love your nature pics! We live in the woods and the Indigo Bunting was here a couple of weeks ago. Now I know where he went! He is so beautiful and I had never seen one before. We have a red headed woodpecker living in a dead tree out in our pasture. I am glad to know another bird and nature love like myself here! Your pictures are wonderful! Debby :)

June Berries is beautiful! I also love your framing job -- I can't believe you did it for so little $$. It looks great!

Thanks for your comment about my house. I am feeling better about it. I should have figured that not many people were hitting that blog.

Wanted to comment on your latest post, but it didn't say comments at the bottom. I love your Halloween finish. It's just too cute! And I am very jealous! Your new fabric is gorgeous! The LNS near me and the only one in town closed.
