Painted Ponies

Hi!

Happy weekend!!

Here's my finished Painted Ponies can you believe I finished it off with a hoop, lol. Haven't done that in ages.

I might just add some rope around the edges. I am giving this to my DD's friend that loves horses. She has seen it and I think she knows it's for her.
Another busy weekend ahead.
After Brianna leaves today, it's out to rake alittle and then in to stitch some on CDC before bed.
Friday fish fry sure sounds good.
Have a super duper weekend all.
until next time....

Edited: Thanks so much for the ones who took the time to comment on my Windy Hill.
I think I will put it away for awhile, I dont know, maybe, cut it away and make ornies with the unused portion.

If anyone would love to have the chart, email me, first come first serve. no charge.

Painted Ponies looks great! The round hoop frame is the perfect finish, it reminds me of a dream catcher.

It looks spectacular the way you finished it Ranae. The color of the hoop and the feathers/turqoise trim is perfect, it looks great against that brick wall with your other horses.

Congrats on your finising your ponies! I think finishing it in a hoop is a great way to do it! As I've told friends in the past, not everyone is special enough in your life to afford framing!

Your Painted Ponies is stunning finished and I love the framing. I think a rope border would just finish it off nicely.

I love this! It's just beautiful. And now there's a Joni Mitchell song stuck in my head (The Circle Game) with a line that says the "painted ponies go up and down."

Very pretty finish! Also, love the Breyer Horses in the picture...I used to collect Breyers when I was growing up and I still have my entire collection. They were a big part of my childhood...they were my link to horsedom since I didn't have the real thing. :-)

Painted Ponies looks wonderful, I think the round hoop finish you did looks great with it. You've been making wonderful progress on your CDC piece, and your Halloween Queen finish turned out great too.

Good luck with the leaves, I keep raking here too but they just keep coming.
