Do The Frappucinno Dance

Hi! I finally finished Frappucinno and here is the results...

I started The Peacock Sampler by The Goode Huswife. I don't know the fabric, I am using Vikki Clayton silks.

There are my new Gingher Emma scissors in the 4" and 8".

I recieved my BBD #30 Rites of Spring, plus the 30ct Irish Creme fabby thru the auto-ship. Arghhh! The fabby is cut short AGAIN. I have talked to others and they dont get shorted the 3" border. Sew! I will be doing my auto-ship somewhere else.

Any recommendations?

It's not a life or death thing, but I would like what everyone is getting for their money. I like to have the extra, just in case. Rather to be safe then sorry.

Happy Stitching!!

Frappucinno looks wonderful, I love the colors in this one. Nice start on Peacock Sampler as well, your Emma scissors look like they'll be fun to use.

So sorry to hear about the fabric being cut short again. That would be soooo frustrating. Like you I want the extra margin just in case I'm not centered or something. If nothing else it gives more options for finishing when you have more fabric to work with. I don't blame you for switching who you're getting the autoship through with that happening. Not sure who your autoship is with now, but as for fabbie and such, I've had great luck with Stitches n Things and also Shakespear's Peddler.

As to your earlier post, I like the house with the more golden windows much better, more friendly and welcoming looking.

Congrats on your finish, it's beautiful. I love the new BBD chart, I may do that one myself ;)

Frappucinno looks lovely. Great job. I got my Emma's the other day too!!! Aren't they fun.
I don't know about some fabric suppliers - it can be very frustrating. Like the new charts. Kisses for Brianna

Fantastic finish Ranae! Lovely start on Peacock Sampler.

Sorry to hear your fabric is cut short again. I don't know who you're on autoship with but I'm with Needlecraft Corner and I had plenty of fabric for Where My Heart Blooms.

Your Frappucinno looks awesome! Lovely colors :o)

The Ghinger scissors still look black to me but I hope to see them in person next weekend. I would say just take your business elsewhere if they are scrimping on their fabric size. Otherwise, try talking to them? Good luck!

Don't know how I missed reading this post. You are in my Google reader. Must have been one of my senior moments.

Love Frappucinno. I have it to do. Plan to do all the coffee ones together on one piece.

I have had good luck with Stitches n' Things and Silver Needle.

Have you talked to the shop where you keep getting shorted. Do they not allow 3 inches around or do they just figure wrong? That is too bad. If I did that when I was working at my LNS, I would not be there very long. LOL
