Hi Ranae:

What a wonderful place for your children to play!

The border is all I have left to on my Boo piece - hooray! I am still green with envy (like my pun) over your choice of fabric - it's wonderful!

Enjoy your weekend.

I just got back from walking to the store at lunchtime. I'm a sweaty mess! I could use a wade in that creek about now!

Very cute border and nice progress on the houses.

We had a creek in our backyard growing up and there was always something to discover, snakes, snapping turtles! Makes for some great learning lessons when you're a child.

Love your Ida Mae (I missed your last post) and both of your other pieces. I really look forward to seeing your progress on Villages. It's such a great piece. Have a wonderful weekend.

Is that a clam????

Isn't it great having water in your backyard? We have a pond that brings all sorts of wildlife into our yard. Looks like the clam likes it too!

I love the border, so cute. The creek does look like it would provide a lovely time exploring, great pictures. Happy belated birthday to Brianna, I can't believe she's 2 already, where does the time go. Also, your finish of Ida Mae turned out wonderfully, what a fun design.

Thanks for the visit, Ranae! I've enjoyed looking at your stitching and your backyard. Where in IL are you? Our older daughter lives there too. (along with her DH and all of our GK!)

We had a creek nearby when I lived in Texas and I know I spent a lot of time down there exploring!

Your LK bottom looks fantastic! Keep going on Village that's a monster piece!
