Please! Don't hate me...

Because I have the most beautiful flower frog of them all

A big big Thanks to Deb for such a generous give-away. I think they display my Ginghers beautifully.

Here is some stitchy progress

Dancing on the Moon by BOAF

Halloween House #15 added to House #9 by Judith Kirby.
Lastly is here kitchen progress

I am still not very comfortable with the back splash color. We might just add tile to cover it. The other 3 big walls will not be this color, so if I can find a suitable color, this will stay, maybe.

The floor is being put in as I type this. The countertop guy comes tomorrow. There will be an island in the middle there someday, probably tomorrow after the flooring in finished. The contractor's got a chuckle from my art work, now behind the cabinets, lol I didn't think they would pay attention. I had fun! that's all that counts.

Thanks so much for all the comments and emails I get. I feel so blessed

Oh nice flower frog, and so many pretty scissors too! I am in LOVE with your BOAF Dancing on the Moon, it is just beautiful.
I really like the colour of the back splash. I think that when you have all your appliances in and the rest of the walls painted with your other colour that it will look great!

Congrats on winning the frog - it's so pretty! And, it holds your scissors very nicely.

Wow, your kitchen is coming along nicely! So much storage - I just love redecorating!

What a fun post to look at. Scissors in a flower frog... lucky you show pictures or I'd never even know that that was all about!

The BOAF piece is gorgeous. Both designs are working up nicely.

The kitchen is looking good. I'm jealous since my is so badly in need of an overhaul.

Ranae - Your scissors look stunning in that flower frog, is I do say so myself! LOL I'm glad that it arrived safe and sound and your scissors have a new home.

Love your wips - especially the Dancing with the Moon!

And they've made a huge amount of progress on your kitchen. I like the back splash color! Maybe just breaking it up with some decorative tiles that you can hand individually or something will break it up a little, and of course, a window treatment, but I think it looks nice!!

Great flower frog. I love the BOAF design. I wish it was still available.
Your kitchen looks good too.

Congratulations on winning the frog!

I think your kitchen is looking great! You may like the color once everything else is finished. The biggest sections of it will be covered up with appliances, so it may look totally different.

I'd never heard the expression flower frog before, I think I'd have called that a rose bowl, but your scissors certainly look good in it whatever its called.
Your new kitchen is coming along well

Your scissor frog is nice, but your BOAF is fabulous!!

So that's what a flower frog is! But I like it being a scissor frog better. Your Halloween pieces put me in an October mood - I've got to start picking out my candy and try to avoid eating it. Count me as one who likes the backsplash, but if you live with it for awhile and it still doesn't feel right, then change it.

I'm sorry Ranae but I have to hate you. I've been eying that flower frog on EBay since early summer. JK! It is beautiful isn't it? You are very lucky and your scissors look fantastic in it :o)

Your WIPs look great.

Oh my! What a transformation in your kitchen! It looks fantastic!

Ooh, very nice frog, but I think I love the scissors more. You can never have too many pairs of snips!
The BOAF is adorable. I haven't done too much cross stitch, but Birds of a Feather charts are my favorites.

The kitchen looks fantastic! The tomato red is awesome. I would definitely not cover it up.

Very pretty! I love the progress on your projects. I wish they still had that in print.

I *LOVE* your back splash color! My entire room was painted that color. The intensity will subside the more things get put in place.

That's a real pretty flower frog. I had to dig out my Dancing on the Moon too but I still haven't even kitted it up.

The cabinets are really pretty, I like the design and color of them. The back splash color goes well with them. I like the tile idea too though, tile is really easy to keep clean, in my old kitchen I had to repaint often since the walls were wiped off often.

I knew I was behind in blog reading, but I thought that I hadn't seen a blog update from you in awhile and check here to see that I missed one!! Ack. Your Village block looks great--love the model! ;)

Beautiful kitchen so far! You must be thrilled with how it's coming along.

Love the Halloween WIPs. I really need to get cracking on some.

YGG on winning Deb's giveaway! I think that's the only type of frog I like. ;)

Hi Ranae! Your kitchen is coming together so nicely. I think the backsplash color looks great. Wait until everything else is in the room and then see what you think...

Love that scissors holder--congratulations on your win! And what a collection of scissors--very impressive :)

How nice to see a frog that doesn't call us to pull out stitches.Congratulations - that is a beautiful frog. Wow, all those Ginghers. Lucky you. The Joann's I go to in AZ has stopped carrying the limited ones so no more for me (pout).
Love your new Halloween stitches.
I love that red wall. If you pick the right accent color, it will look fabulous. Construction is coming along well from the looks of it though.

Love, love, love your flower frog! I found some this summer, but need better bowls to put them in.

You also reminded me that I have those Halloween houses to do, already have the specially painted fabric and the charts and the floss....now to find the time to stitch them.

You kitchen is looking great!
