Tribute to Summer

Happy Hump Day!!!

I have another finish

Tribute to Summer by Stacy Nash Primitives
Stitched on 30ct cocoa linen with GA threads
My favorite, for once, was the border, ha
It was such a joy to stitch, I love the colors

Then I and Anna went to the Inspired Needle stitch-in. We stopped at the Vera Bradley outlet in a mall on the way there.
Here is my grand model showing it off

The Folkloric grand tote

I also bought the Boysenberry address book she's holding up

My favorite Vera design is Canyon and one hope to own something in that pattern
The outlet store I go to only carries discontinued patterns, so they don't have the Canyon design there :(

What's yours???

I forgot to snap a pic of my purchase from the Inspired Needle
I bought a couple patriotic designs, a Word play by Brenda Gervais with enough 35ct linen to do four of them

I turned off the word verification (that annoying step to leave a comment) and will see how many spam I get, hopefully not as many as I was getting

Thanks for stopping by my little part of the woods

Happy stitching!!!!

Such a sweet finish. Soft soft and pretty colors. I love, love Vera Bradley and my SIL picks things up for me from the outlet store in Virginia. Which reminds me I need to send her my new order. I don't have a favorite really - well, maybe the black and pink design that came out a couple years ago for Breast Cancer. But honestly I love just about everyone of them.

Congratulations on the awesome finish. Although I regret that now I have to go add that pattern to my list of things I want to do. Dang it!

Very pretty finish.
I've never been to a VB outlet store. That must be a real treat. they used to have a navy blue design that wasn't as wild as some. I loved that one. I'm on the conservative side with this things.

I go to the Vera Bradley outlet, too. Love it! You can register your birthday and you get a $20 coupon to use during your birthday month. I got one in January.

Lovely and impressive finish! I love that design, but have been intimidated by its size :) I was just at the Inspired Needle for the very first time on Saturday! Oh boy! Was I inspired! I loved it and will definitely be going back! Didn't realize there was Vera Bradley outlet near by or I would have visited that as well ;)
Blessings, Patti

I love that Stacy Nash piece! It's on my list to pick up at Nashville this weekend. My boss is a HUGE Vera Bradley fan. We have a women's consignment store just 3 doors down from the shop and the owner always calls the boss when she gets a Vera Bradley bag in.

I am so sorry I missed you at Sunday stitching!!! Next time you go you have to tell me! I have not been going because Saturday and Sunday have been the only days to spend with Mike as he is working in Canada during the week.

I adore your finish, the colours and design are so beautiful. I think that this is another one to add to my to stitch list.

I recently followed Laurie's advice and changed my settings so that only google accounts could comment and it stopped all the spam without the need for word verification.
