I totally forgot to show the two samplers I found when Anna and I went to an antique mall
Sorry for the reflection off the glass on the first two
This one has a water stain in the bottom left corner and not marked who stitched it
:(
I still love it
I spent a little time googling this couple. I couldn't find either name associated with the other
I found this one yesterday while trying to find a needle shop in Zionsville, In.
It was only six dollars, the ladies said it was there only a couple days.
I was lucky enough to grab it, as there was someone else looking at it too.
Next post will be two needle shops visited
Happy stitching!!!

Really, really neat. I am always so saddened when I find needlework at thrift shops. Someone put A LOT of work into those!
Wow so so beautiful....
Yup it made me sad too when I see a needlework in a thrift store..
Love x
Wonderful! How lucky for you! Most older samplers I see are very expensive.
What great finds!! I found a couple when I was up north this summer going through antique shops. It's sad that someone gives them up, but then so wonderful when someone who appreciates them finds them.
Oh you lucky girl! They are great. The border in that first piece is fantastic and the second piece with the couple is really unusual. (Hmmm, will you reproduce them?)
WOW! Those are awesome. What great finds. :)
Oh wow, you're so lucky!! They're all wonderful!
Hi Ranae,
I did a quick search and perhaps found your couple. Denny and Cindy I guessed were probably nicknames for Dennis and Cynthia and I found a Dennis and Cynthia Erdman living in Prior Lake, MN.
These are fabulous! Keep us posted if you learn more about the couple!
Great finds.
Great finds Ranae : )
They are fabulous! I am so glad that you rescued them.
Pretty finds.
I always forget to stitch my name in to my work, I really should start doing it.
Beautiful. My framer has a very old one at the back of his shop, he's started collecting them after admiring cross stitched pieces he has been framing.
Score! I am so happy for you and the samplers.
