Emma & Her Pony

Ha! I can finally post pictures. My Thanks goes out to Nicole for her suggesting the app blogpress, so now I can post pictures. It seems EZPZ, so far, lol
We have the Verizon 4g jet pack, my HP connects, but doesn't find the web page. I have called support, but they don't know why that happens. Good thing I bought this iPad, I have no choice but to start getting use to it
Another small I'm in love with, I'm getting along pretty darn good with my sewing machine.
I could have have had this done in one day, a long day, but it took two

Emma & Her Pony sewing roll by Stacy Nash Primitives

I did make a change, I didn't use the initials E.P. I stitched ABC.I'm really proud with this finish, its almost perfect
Thanks to Phyllis (no blog yet) for borrowing me the pattern, I sent her the Liberty pattern by Stacy. Thanks to Anna for giving me some fabric awhile ago, I found the two perfect ones for this.
Is anyone going to Celebration of Needlework in St. Charles?
Anna and I have our room booked and signed up, so if you are going, let me know, maybe we can meet up.
Happy Stitching!!!

Liberty >sewing pouch

Hello! again and so soon

It's still July, right?
Good!!

I finished the sewing pouch and you didn't even get a WIP pic
It stitched up really fast, for me anyway
by Stacy Nash Primitives
Thanks to Patti for borrowing me the pattern, she told me to pass it on. Anna wants to stitch it now too, so you will have to get the pattern from her when she's done
35ct unknown linen, with called for DMC. I added a button, it kinda looked a little too sparse between the stars.

Thanks for stopping by and even more if you leave a comment

Happy Stitching!!!!

We pre-stitched three things before the retreat, here are two I put together, I still have the needlebook to sew, on my machine

Peggy_Lee from kentucky bought a grab bag

Karin from Illinois won a door prize of Victorian Motto's finishing trims

Jan and I

Here is most of the group, I think there is 8 missing

That's it!!!

I do have a few more pics of stash and the retreat chart kit that we received.

You can visit any of the high-lighted names to see if they have more photo's and/or stories

It was so much fun to hang out with the stitchers I knew and the new ones I met. What could be better?!

I was so inspired when we went to Jan's house one afternoon, her walls are all so gorgeous with all the stitching. I don't have any snaps, I forgot my camera, you might just catch some on someone elses blog out there.

R.I.P. my dear sister

Hello fellow stitchers

I have sad news...
My only sister Janis was in the hospital for 17 days before she gave up her fight.
She had not been to a doctor for 30 years, so when she asked my dad to take her to the hospital
her liver was already so damaged. She basically waited till the pain got to her.
She was never married, no children. She passed away monday night June 4th with me, mom and dad beside her. My brothers arrived shortly after. She was 62 years young. We had no idea she didn't feel well for years, but friends and co-workers did. We laid her to rest today. She suffers no more.
My brothers and I have been working hard cleaning out her apartment this week, Thank goodness she wasn't a pack rat. Now there is all the paper work with the bills and her accounts, it's hard with her having no will made out.
Thanks for the emails checking on me and sorry if I didn't back to you. It's been a hectic three weeks with no blogging and no stitching. I have over 700 blogs in my google reader, not sure what I will do there as it will take me days to play catch up.
Well, it's time to get some sleep, oh how I wish I could just sleep all day tomorrow, but Kellie has a softball club tournament 9am and it's 2 hours away. I'm so drained.
I wanted to take a few minutes to let you all know whats been up with me.
Thanks so much for all the FaceBook prayers for my family too.
I'll be back sometime with some stitchiness updates when I have some
Goodnite and God Bless
