Wip's, finish and a walk
Everyone, most everyone wants to know why I don't care for QC very much. I don't like the 28 ct fabric and the color just is not right for me. I have really thought about starting it over on smaller count. I just have so much to stitch and can't stand the thought of all them stitches wasted. So I am going to bite my lip for a little longer on it. Hopefully closer to Christmas will do it for me.
Speaking of Christmas that reminds me of snow. There is a snow storm headed in our direction tomorrow and is suppose to dump 2"-4" of snow into tomorrow night. Southern Wisconsin is like 4"-8". Oh Well!! Chalk it up to "Stitch Time" for me.
Here is a few more WIP's
Blackbird Designs "Greeting's", loving it!!
I went for a early morning walk and for once remembered to bring my camera. There's not much to see when you live outta city limits and surrounded by fields.
Here are my favorite neighbors, less then a block away, they came running up to my side of the fence looking for yummy apples or carrots
Have a super duper weekend. Thanks once again for your visits and all the support.
Update on the deceptive practice issue. My Dh called them last week and they agreed to pay 900.00 of the 1300.00. this week. . It's a little loss but we won't have to go to court and mess with the time or paperwork involved. We don't have a check as of today. DH won't do work for them anymore.

Here's the before photo of Monopoly Gameboard, when I first pulled it out in January after many, many years.
I have been stitching here and there and this is the results.
I have stitched and restitched the face on the jailer. He must have gotten too beat up in jail, because he always comes out looking deformed, So he's no face for right now, lol
Here's a little freebie that only took a few hours. I am not sure what's it's called. I noticed it sure has the same body style as the Goode Huswife "Primitive Bird" maybe a little different, I dont have the chart to compare. The freebie can be found Here
I didn't follow the exact motifs, I made some up. I didn't care for the poinsettia leaves.
Photo taken in my back yard, I can see a tree full of these little birdies.
I am planning on stitching BBD "Greeting's" tonite and I will see what other WIP's need my attention for update photo's.
That's it for now.
Please take care and Thanks so much for visiting :)

Row 8
I have been stitching on the Lizzie Kate Halloween
I am not sure what color I will make the inside border just yet.
I went to the library and picked up "Home Another Way" by Christa Parrish. I have never read one of hers books. I always forget to show and tell what I am reading.
If you like Halloween, I stumbled across this The Pink Witch: Cross Stitch, Knitting, Beadwork & Halloween she has so many different and neat references.
I am still playing catch up with reading and commenting, from over the weekend. All I can say is "Man! you stitchers and bakers are good, I mean really good"
I have a dilemma with my ATS. If you like, you can check it out here and give me some feedback on it "And They Sinned..."- The SAL! I would really appreciate it. I don't think that blog is too active anymore.
Thanks so much for coming here and being a little part of my world.
Happy Stitching!!
