While Brianna sleeps.....

SHHHH!! I hope you all can hear me, lol.

I thought I would post real quick and show updates on a couple things I worked on Saturday night. My update progress on Witchy Washy by Raise The Roof

Oh!! And looky there, I remembered to take a picture of my Ashley Gingher scissors.
I got kinda of bored with the dress, so I started a new one Halloween Queen by Notforgotten Farms

I love the willow tree and thought about just adding things around it. I can do that another time though. For those who cant make it out, the tree is in her dress with some tombstones. I dont know what I am using for the fabby, just a junk piece. It was like the Wild Fairy Lights but only in a different color. It is so loose and flimsy. It is perfect for this piece though.
We went to the apple orchard yesterday, here's a yummy picture with my purchases.

The donuts are Yumo!!! I had the cheese popcorn almost gone before we arrived home.
I am feeling so overwhmled by all my stash and the new seasons charts coming out. I went through a bunch of my stash yesterday and sorted out mostly my threads. I am done buying for awhile, lol. I just have way too much and I havent recieved my parcels from the sales yet. I have so many threads that are only a shade off, so I am going to try to compromise there. I do love the design "JEUX D"HALLOWEEN" by Perrette Samouiloff, it's in French, but could probably figure it out with the chart. I also have so many finishes I need to make frames for and would love to make a biscornu for myself before the year ends. I just envy you all for all the neat exchanges you do. I would love to try it, but am not confident stitching for someone else that stitches.
Kathy A ask me about Painted Ponies here is a pic of it.

It can be found in The Cross Stitcher June 1995. Sorry for the blurriness. If you like it, I would love to pass it on to you when I am finished.
I am going to a wedding on Saturday in southern Illinois. Can anyone help me out and let me know if there are any cross stitch shops? I would really appreciate it.
Oh! did I say I was going to stop buying, well it wouldnt hurt to just look, lol.
Better go Brianna is making noises. We are going on the third feeding before daddy gets here. I am pondering just how much or little I will get done when shes here. I am so nervous about the monitor. It has gone off twice so far since she came home for a low heart beat. But she will be good for grandma, lol
Happy Stitching!!!

Hi Ranae, I'll reply when I have a bit more time. I just had to say... I took my 7 year old nephew to a LNS and he saw Santas Closet and thought it was so funny (snicker, snicker) that someone had stitched Santa's boxers! :-)

Love your halloween-y stitching! I, too, have been bitten by the Halloween stitching bug!
You might try google to find needlework shops in the town you are visiting. I did that when I went to Minneapolis and it was great-addresses and everything.

Hello again, I hope Brianna is sleeping well for you and that there have been no more alarms.
I still smile when I see your Witchy Washy. Logan would probably turn read to see the bra! I really like this piece and the Halloween Queen.
Its great you are able to make your own frames. I don't and it costs me a fortune to frame my pieces.
I wish I could stop buying, but I know it isn't likely. I'll send you a link for shops in IL.

Hi Ranae

I just read your post to me in my blog! I am working on Vonna's Round Robin and will make a post soon on that. You have some awesome pictures here and your stitching is just really beautiful!! I will be back on Harbour Village soon but am really enjoying this round robin. I hope that she likes it! I hope to put something up soon on it as I don't want to give it away before getting a little more done. Debby :)
