Flea market find

Hi!
I took my dad to a indoor flea market yesterday. I saw this needle art hiding behind some stuff and ask if I could have a better look at it?

It was cheap as chips at 3.00 I have no idea what I am going to do with it.
Anyway just thought I would share it with you.

Yeah!!! Rockford’s own “groundhog,” Kliffton, predicted an early spring on an overcast Saturday morning.

Mother nature is dumping another round of snow as I write this.
Off to finish my Biscornu... stay tuned.

Thanks so much for visiting and leaving comments. I really love to hear from you.

Happy Stitching!!

How cute is that? What a lucky find!! Any clue as to what year it was stitched?

It looks like a Noah's Ark theme. Might be suitable for a child's room or Sunday School classroom.

Very nice, i would be wondering what type of lady/gent stitched this. Stay safe and cosy and warm in the bad weather

That is such a cute find! And the price - I would have brought it home, too. I rarely find deals like that. Maybe I need to head north. :o)

Wow that is such a cute piece of needlework that you found!! Wonder how old it is? It is adorable! Your And They Sinned is really beautiful and coming along so beautifully!!! I have thought about doing that one but wonder if I would ever get it done! It is really pretty! I ended up having to have a root canal and a crown yesterday! My blood pressure was up as they had me on a monitor and he almost didn't do anything, but I persuaded him to do it and I took some extra meds as I was so scared! I think the cost is what caused my bp to go up mostly though!! I have used all of my benefits on the dental insurance on one tooth already!! No pain though and he did a great job!! Thanks for asking!! Debby :)

Love it - what a great find, and you can't beat the price. I was in Florida recently and went to a small but pleasant cross stitch store in Dunedin (in the St. Petersburg area). It's called Lasting Impressions. Their website seems to have disappeared but it's at 1842 Main Street, phone 727-738-1383. Have fun visiting shops!
