CCN start and Palomino pillow

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

First of all... I have had so many stitchers ask me about the La D Da freebie. It was a freebie I received from Needlecraft Corner last year with the BBD 2008 autoship. You might be able to contact them for it "Free-bee Alphabet w/ Hare"

Is it o.k. to share freebies????

I know this question has come up before, but I can't remember the rules. I know you can share a link.
**Edited to add: Thanks to Sadie she found a link to the freebie. Here it is http://www.needleartworks.com/stv/nwsltr/page1-6.pdf

This is my start on Princess Parade by Country Cottage Kids (CCN)I don't know why the photo shows tint of blue, it is 32ct cream, oh well! better colors next time around.

I finally made the Palomino into a pillow. I have the perfect barn wood frame, but it was a tad to small.

It's a beautiful sunny warm record breaking 75 degree day, the cornbeef and cabbage is in the crockpot and here I am inside blogging, lol

That's it for now

Happy Stitching!!

Love the horse pillow. A lot of loving work went into that one!

They say you can't share hard copy freebies unless it specifically says you can on the design or you get permission from the designer.

Nice start on Princess Parade.

I was under the impression that it was ok to share freebie copies, because they were free to begin with and the person will loose no money from it being passed on. Not positive but I think that is the case.

Now . . . I LOVE the horse pillow!! That is just fantastic!!! I love horses and they are my favorite animal and that sad thing is that I have never stitched one! You done an amazing job on the stitching and the finishing!!! It is perfect!

I LOVE the palomino!!! Very nicely finished too -- really sharp! I have this pattern, too, and think I've just moved it into my "To-Do" pile.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :)

I LOVE that horse pillow! It looks like it was a lot of work. Great new start, too!

I think the individual designers set the rule as to how their freebies can be shared. Most won't allow you to post the chart on the Internet but do allow copies. ?!

Really love the horse pillow it is just perfect as a pillow and this way you really get to enjoy it. As far as sharing the freebies go I really don't know as they were given away free in the first place and so many of them are just gorgeous and make great needlebooks and pinkeeps, but who knows - not me. Love how the pillow turned out the fabric you used looks terrific.

I do have a question for you. Do you know of a link or video link that shows how to make a fob? I tried my hand at one yesterday. Everything was perfect ecxept the danngle on the bottom I did not know what to do with the "wire" so it is tied around the bottom bead.
Sorry so long

It seems like every time I take pictures of my stitching the fabric never comes out the right color! Wow that horse pillow probably took a long time, you would never know it was cross stitch from that distance it is beautiful!

WOW that pillow is absolutely stunning. I usually find horses look a little "chocolate box" but that looks so real you feel like you could just go get the sugar lumps out.

Re freebies - as I understand you are not supposed to pass on a copy you have printed from the internet but point the person in the way of downloading themselves (so they visit and look at the designers other work) but a hard copy one can be passed as long as it is not charged for or kitted up.

That pillow is just fantastic! Congratulations on such a lovely finish!

Typically you can't share a freebie design without the author's permission.
