Luke 10:27

Happy Sunday

I found this little 14ct Aida finish at a second hand store awhile ago. I took it out of the frame, washed it and sewed it into a little pillow last night. I don't have a clue who the designer is, but I love the verse

I started In The Meadow last night too

I stumbled across a pair of the 4" Gingher Jennifer embroidery scissors

They are so pretty

Time to start some dinner

Love the new finish you gave the lil treasure you found. Thanks for the great photo of the scissors as I had not seen the design on the handles. I knew they were green and blue buy couldn't quite make out the patterns until now.

Gosh that is spooky! That was the Gospel in church today although I don't think it was Luke's Gospel. It is a lovely little pillow though. Congratulations on finishing it so beautifully.

What a nice idea, I hate to see people's stitching languishing unloved in the 2nd hand shops

Lovely stuff! So nice of you to rescue that needlework.

Good for you rescuing that piece. It looks great. I feel so sad when I find stitched pieces at our thrift shops. But when I come back next time, they are gone. So somebody must be giving them life again. =)

I love that verse on your "recycled" pillow too. Love the ric-rac.

And you were rewarded with the Jennifer scissors-nice!

That is so neat that you gave new life to somebody's stitching. I always tell my kids that I will haunt them if my stitching ends up in a thrift store. LOL

Nice repurposing the needlework. Very pretty scissors. I've heard some chatter about new Jennifers and hadn't seen them until now.
