Kitty possum??

Hello!
I thought I would post real quick while Brianna just went to bed.
Her mom and dad just arrived safely in Honolulu. They left at 4am this morning and just arrived around 8pm. They were at the airport 3 hrs early and had a 3+hr lay over in San fransico, Ca.

They are to be wed on Monday.
We have Brianna all week long, something tells me it will be a long one, lol.

So if you don't hear from me, thats why.

I am going to try to read blogs, when its nap time. Just to keep up.

Have you seen these scissor blocks? They are way cool

found here

Here are a few pics from nap time today.

Just need to add beads and stocking on this one.

This one is "Keep Christmas In Your Heart" by Lizzie Kate, CS&N Dec. 1998.
So hopefully next time I post there will be some finishes.

Here a few nature photo's taken today and tonite.

'This is the kitty, well, that's what Brianna calls it anyway.

I snapped a pic out the patio door (we have an exposed basement). when I opened it, he turned around and looked at me, isn't she suppose to play dead?

The possum was feeding on some chips I threw out earlier in the day for the birds.

Well, I better do a few things and head off to bed. Brianna was up at 5:30am, makes for a long day.

I will post pics of Heather and Sean in Hawaii, when they get back.

Take Care!!

NO Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Chocolate pie shell for me and graham crust for him.

Yumo!!!!
Here's the recipe
Ingredients:
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup milk
1 (16 oz.) package frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts
Directions:
Beat together cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Mix in peanut butter and milk, beat till smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
Spoon into two 9" pie shells; cover, and freeze until firm. I didnt wait that long, lol.
I DRIZZLE CHOCOLATE SYRUP OVER MY PIECE
This is what I did so far last night and I am not liking it. My leaves are the same color with hardly any varigation becuz the colours are so alike. I might just have to frog some. I want to start to add the beads, but I have to wait.
2"-4" snowfall expected tomorrow. I think we are off to a good start, lol.

Thank You for visiting and commenting.

A Joyous Christmas

Haaaa!!!! I finally finished A Joyous Christmas this morning, after I don't know how many years it was a UFO.

Some of you probably noticed I didn't stitch the border. It would have took me at least another year to do that. A joyous Christmas by Birds of a Feather

Talcum powder in my ...

One evening a Husband, thinking he was being funny, said to his wife, 'Perhaps we should start washing your clothes in 'Slim Fast'. Maybe it would take a few inches off of your butt!'

His wife was not amused, and decided that she simply couldn't let such a comment go unrewarded.

The next morning the husband took a pair of underwear out of his drawer. 'What the Heck is this?' He said to himself as a little 'dust' cloud appeared when he shook them out.

'April', he hollered into the bathroom, 'Why did you put Talcum Powder in my underwear?'

She replied with a snicker. 'It's not talcum powder; it's 'Miracle Grow'!!!!!!

Woohoo!! I did it!!! I did it!!!!

I can't believe I made a flat fold and it turned out near perfect. I worked on this last night, it was so easy.
I had glue all over my pants, but that's beside the point, lol.
I am just so proud of myself.
There is sparklie on the branches and snowfall, but my camera didn't pick it up.

Woohoo!! Peacock Sampler is finished

Hello!

I stitched and stitched last night and finally finished it. I need to find a frame, maybe something with a touch of gold.

The Peacock Sampler by Goode Huswife
stitched on a mystery cream with VC silks.
Next up is my BOAF, so watch for another finish soon.
I just had to grab my camera when I seen this. I didn't think this would ever happen, but it did and I have proof

taaada!!!

What's so unusual about this picture????
The kitty queen let Brianna get that close to her, I just couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and seen Brianna had crawled up on my lounger, in a matter of seconds, lol. She did get to touch her, just a wee lil bit. Smidget ususally hides downstairs when she is over and we don't catch a glimpse of her till Brianna is gone.

Here's a pic looking out that big window, NO snow as of yet :(

This is where I am as of this afternoon with White Christmas. I know I am going to try to finish it as my first flatfold. Wish me luck

Can someone help me with this pattern? I found it in an old Bible I don't use. I believe it came from a magazine, I just don't remember. I don't have enough material on the edges to work with, so I might just add a piece of felt to finish it off.

Don't forget to enter for the drawing on the next post down.

Don't forget to floss!!!

Happy Stitching!!

A little sparkle in my sparkle

What did I do this past weekend?
This is what I finished

When Witches Go Riding by The Prairie Schooler

I did this little freebie in just a few short hours, can be found Here
The photo looks a little funkie, with a faded sparkle, but really it looks nice. I used one strand dmc and one strand Krninik blending filament. I wished it would have come out like it looks in real life, lol
I am in a hurry just look at how crooked the PS is, lol, not to point it out or anything, lol.

I have BBD finished, now I just have to dig out my Christmas fabric, so I can finish a few.

And here is the last one I started before heading off to bed. I will leave it as a little teaser for now

I hope you all have a great start of the week

Warm Winter Wishes

I finally finished Warm Winter Wishes by Waxing Moon into a pinkeep. I finished stitching it this summer. Thanks! Julie for the idea, she did the same design.
I have the BBD all stitched, now just have to finish that one off too.

I have been reading some new awesome blogs lately.
My problems with blogger all of a sudden cleared up.
I finally weeded my google reader, maybe that helped.
Thank you for all the comments and e-mails. I really love to hear from you.
And just because I seem to get more comments when I post a pic of Brianna, here she is playing in the leaves.

Hey! Where did this shoe come from?

When I take her for a walk, she thinks she has to step on every single leaf, so it takes a long while just to walk to the mailbox, lol.

I received my blog candy from the very talented Karin today. Even though some were broke, they are just gorgeous in real life. I plan on doing some kind of spring or summer biscornu with them. Thank You! so much Karin I absolutelty love them.

Thank you for all your continued support.

I am still wishing for a stitching friend, I must have used up all my wishes, :(

Happy Stitching! Don't forget to floss every single day ;)

Now for the winners of the Breast Cancer Awareness give-away

First winner of the bracelet and pen go to Carla

Second winner pulled for the peeler is Brenda (no blog)

Congratulations! Carla and Brenda

Do you notice the ABC is ripped out from the last post? I went off the wrong chart on the pamplet for a different design and ended up stitching the ABC and border the color that is of the bird. I didnt want to frog the border or have that much of one color. So I will do the alphabet in 310 or maybe a forest green, not sure yet.

This one is hard to put down

Thanks so much for visiting me.

Happy Stitching!!
