Updates!!

Happy Sunday!!

I have been stitching all weekend and here are the results...
Yay! or Nay!
Most said "yay" so I went with it

"Starr Of Mine" by LHN from the TGOS online magazine.

This is the Friday night SAL

""Earth Sampler" by The Primitive Needle

I decided to go with a freebie by The Primitive Needle

"By The Light Of The Moon"
stitched on 35 ct from a grab bag from HDF

What is this????

It's some kind of spider. I thought it was carrying a bug, but it doesn't appear to be. It's attached to it. I live in the woods by a river, so we see lots of things, but I have never seen anything like this before. Could it possibly be an egg sack? If you know please inform me.

I wish for my Halloween issue of Just Cross Stitch in the mail tomorrow

I love to read all your comments and the e-mails you send me, Thanks!!

Awesome stitching! I really, really like the blue...I think it's turning out great!

Holy cow...that is one fantastically creepy spider! I'm sure he is just shaped like that, I've seen pictures of other odd-shaped spiders. Better to look scary than be eaten by a bird, right?

Whatever that spider is I say eeeewwwwwwww! Your LHN from TGoS looks fantastic! I love that blue!

Great wips! Love that blue fabric. OK, that spider is scary looking and I'd usually google since I'm a curious sort but I hate spiders! I hope someone has an answer for you.

Nice work, Ranae. I really like the Earth Sampler, and as for the spider or whatever it is, at first I thought you'd created some sort of 3-D stitch! LOL

Gosh you have been busy Ranae! Everything is looking great (except that nasty spider...to me, it looks like a miniature cat! Does anyone else see that? Really creepy!).

Oh your stitching is so beautiful. Everything looks incredible. I have all of them on my Want to Have to do list. Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog too. That spider, pretty scary looking. Be careful.

Eeeeeewwwww. Gruesome spider. They just give me the creeps and living where I do I see a lot of these nasty things. Don't know what it's carrying, but it could be an egg sac. EEEEEWWWW

Wonderful stitching. I think that Star of Mine looks great on that fabric and your Earth Sampler is wonderful too. I'd like to stitch that at some point. And love the Primitive Needle start. I don't think I've seen the pattern for that one. Don't you just love new starts?

I concur with everyone else - YUCKYUCKYUCK! I do not like spiders or bugs of any sort.

What I do like are all your wonderful stitching projects. I can't wait to see more progress on Starr of Mine!

I don't know what that is Ranae but it is totally gross!

Your stitching, on the other hand, is fabulous as usual. You made some great progress this weekend.

doris said...

Ew! I'm not sure I wanna know what that is.

I say YAY to all of your projects. You'll have to decide about the blue, though, because it's impossible to tell on the computer.

Nice job on your stitching! I don't know what the spidey thing is.

Great updates on all your work in progress.

Your progress is great I wish I had more time lately for stitching. The spider or whatever it is looks like the white part is a huge face. AH! i am petrified of any kind of spider, and one that big would have caused me to have a heart attack!

I googled your state and spider identification and found this:

http://www.museum.state.il.us/ismdepts/zoology/spiders/gallery.html?RollID=roll01&FrameID=gracilis

What do you think? Is that it?

Check out these pictures (they're not for the faint of heart!)

Okay, moving on! I think I'll stick with my brown recluse spiders!

Starr of Mine is beautiful, lovely fabric.
I started that same freebie, but didn't like the fabric. I'll start it again some day.

Please let me know if you think that is your spider!

Your stitching looks great :o) In those last 2 pics, it almost looks like that spider has a tiny kitten. Could you imagine the size of a spider that could actually wrap up a kitten??

Stitching is looking great! That fabric looks completely different in this picture.

Okay, that is just FREAKING me out!!!! I have never seen a spider like that, even on any of the nature shows that I've watched. Ewwwww!
